The image is the Home Sweet Home set by Crafty Secrets. I colored it in with my Copics. I also stamped the key and cut that out. I cut the key in half and tucked it under my vintage button. The ribbon is some pretty pink/cream silk that I ordered off M & J Trims. (Internet company I found that has great trims!!!)
My son enjoyed reading all of your well wishes......especially the ones that told him how cute he was! Thanks for making his day!
And just to share.....he was so proud that one of the girls in his class made him a homemade birthday card..........ahhhhhhhh 12.......let the fun begin........puberty, here we come!

Wow girl!! This is amazing!!!
The weaving looks great as a background.
I tried this quite some time ago. To save time, I ran my patterned paper through the paper shredder. It gave very narrow but even strips in just seconds. The weaving was time consuming though!
So pretty, love the weaving and the gorgeous flower!

Thanks for popping by my blog and leaving such a fab comment about my card. Thanks too for the help with the pics, I can see yours have come out really well so I will definately try that trick! Thanks for taking the time to write, I really appreciate it. I'm new to blogging and I never really know if people are actually reading anything I write!!! I love this card and the way you have coloured in using copics. I keep reading about them, I might have to hunt them down over here in the UK x

I adore this woven card. It's nothing short of spectacular! Thanks for the tip on M & J Trim. I wish they had the ivory silk in stock, but I'll be patient. Love your work!
