For my finishing touches I added rhinestones and a pretty satin bow.

What's on the agenda this weekend you ask? Well, let me tell you it is pretty darn exciting.....don't be gettin' all jealous on me now..........I am........Shampooing CARPETS! Are you green with envy? Our living room couches and tables are being delivered next week, so it is time to get rid of the old, clean up and start with a clean slate.....so to speak! We are going to watch Toy Story 3 with the kiddos too. I know, I know, my exciting life is killin' ya!
Have a great weekend! : )

We are into a weekend of soccer tournaments....It is going to be chilly!!!! :-)
Perfect sympathy card Michele and I agree, under-stated is always good with these. I love all your layers and the gorgeous ribbon.
I have to say I'm not pea green with envy over the carpet cleaning but would happily swap it for my enormous pile of ironing :D! I am envious that you're going to see Toy Story 3, I love those films and I do miss taking my boys to the cinema when they were little, it was a lot of fun. Enjoy it, hugs, Chris :)
Your card is really beautiful!!! I will be working on the last bit of packing and moving a few more things to our new home. We move in on the 15th!
This card is beautiful! I love how you combined the several different spellbinder dies!
Jenny Kozar
beautiful card! Hope your doing well. Are you so ready for some cold Illinois weather!
What a beautiful card. Sympathy cards are always hard to make. I need to make one too. Have fun shampooing. We got rid of most of our carpet last year and put in hardwood. I love it!
Absolutely gorgeous!! I am a fan of the neutral palette myself!! This turned out fabulous! TFS! :)
What a beautiful card, Michele. So tasteful and elegent.
My carpeting needs the same attention, but I need to move all my cardmaking supplies out of the way first!!
LOL on the carpet cleaning girl!!! That cracked me up...I saw this card on Justrite and had to stop by and tell you that it is stunning...you put such detail into all of the sponging which really makes this vintage looking...I hope you enjoy your new furniture coming in :)
So pretty...great job!
Now, this is a beautiful card! I think that sympathy cards are some of the hardest for all of us. Afterall, we're probably not feeling our most creative at such a somber time. And, in my opinion, the closer the loss is, the more important the card is to us, and, the harder it is to make. Thanks for the inspiration on this one.
Your sympathy card turned out so beautifully, Michele!! I love the pretty colors, dies and bling you've used! The bow is a perfect addition as well!!
Hi Michele! Thank you for your visit in my blog! I love your cards!
Hugs, Luciana.
