.........A leaf cut from my Cricut that was too large for my other project.....cuz really, who has the heart to throw away a perfectly good leaf? ; ) Then there is this pretty flower that I created from the Mother's Day Bouquet Cartridge that I decided was too busy for my other project, but here it was perfect! I had a piece of this embossed cardstock that was pretty, but a bit short, so I lenghthened it a bit visually with designer paper and a doily peeking out.
The tag was stamped previously too but I had decided on a different color other than brown for my other project, so instead it found its way onto this card!
I would LOVE to know what you do with your leftover pieces! I would love to tell you that I keep them in cute little organized bins or something, but then I'd be lying! So instead they are just everywhere, totally disorganized and crazy. But maybe if you could give me a tip or trick that is easy to use, those pieces could find their way into organizational bliss!
Have a great Thursday! (Only 1 week until Thanksgiving! Can you believe it?!)

Man, if my scraps found themselves coherently together, I'd think it was a dream! As it is, I organize them neatly and keep them for what I'm not sure...but I have them ready just in case, ha!
Love your 'leftover' card! All those sweet little bits and pieces made such a lovely little greeting. I like how you made things all work together with by inking the edges.
Thanks for sharing and inspiring today! :)
your leftover card is absolutely gorgeous! wow! personally I think your room sounds fab...it adds to creativity:)
Wow this is beautiful...such an amazing leftover card

Your room sounds like mine -- I never throw away the die cuts or items the didn't work!! But like you I need an organizational system for all those beauties!!
Your card is stunning and I wouuld never have guessed it was a card made from leftovers! On my wish list is having enough time in a day to use the scraps for another card while I am still in my craft room.
i love the leaf...
lovely card...
i like it ...
Wow! My room is the same, pile on the bed, piles on the floor, piles on the desk, piles on the dresser, piles on the sewing table...it currently is quite a disaster zone. Sometimes I can go in and still create, but sometimes I get overwhelmed and have to clean up at least some of it :) I have a filing bin that I put any designer paper that is 6x6 or 8x8 in and cardstock scraps have there own section and then neutral cardstock scraps. I don't have many pieces that I haven't used, but they usually find themselves in with my embellishments...if it is a flower, it goes with them, tag with tag...so on. Sometimes, I hold on to scraps on my desk and then after a period of time if it hasn't been used it goes in the trash. When I'm in my power cleaning mood, it goes in the trash. Don't know if this will help you. LOVE this card, that was the wow at the beginning. Definitely want to case it. Thanks for sharing, the card, the process, the messy craft room.
I have never seen leftovers look so good! Whoever gets this is one LUCKY person!!!!!! :-) Just seeing it online made my day!
This is just beautiful Michele! I find sometimes my "go to" area of my scraproom is my leftover piles...I have 3 and they are quite tall :)LOL But, I'd rather use what I have than go out to buy more.
I throw mine away...I know I won't use them in a timely manner, and I can't stand stuff all over the place. No help there, huh? Your card is just gorgeous.....funny, your leftovers are better than my first-runs. :)
wow its amazing
have a look on my blog please i only just staring

My daughter was just here scrapping with me and she just laughs when she sees how organized I am. I have stacking drawers for my 81/2X11" solids. A drawer for each color . I put the scraps on the bottom of the whole papers. For the 12X12" books of paper I put the scraps in a plastic bag and clip it with a chip bag clip to the front of each book. Works for me. I'm sure if I had the space or money I could come up with something else but if it ain't broke don't fix it is my moto! Love your cards and how you use your leftovers.
I wish I was organized with my leftovers, but I am afraid that I am just like you! They are EVERYWHERE! Beautiful job on this project!!! Great use of leftovers!

WOW! I wish my scraps looked that good together! Beautiful card!
Your piles and my piles are probably very much alike! I smiled when I read your post because it's a perfect picture of my work area! And no, I can't throw away those leftovers either! Mine are all in a ziplock bag together! Your card came out great!
Your card is lovely. I'm afraid I don't have any tips for you as my leftovers are far from organized.
What a gorgeous card Michele.

What a very lovely card. My craft area is always a mess too. It simply means I have to take the time to clean up after myself when I can't work at my desk anymore. I have clear plastic shoe boxes for organization of small items and leftovers. I can't bear to throw anything away either. My craft room may be messy but I know exactly where everything is and I can get my hands on it and that's all that matters.
Wow! What a gorgeous "leftover" card!

So Beautiful! I love how you embossed the leaf! What a great touch!!!
For organizing look at Pinterest, Rhonda Imbeault,Books Worth Reading - there is one wall hanging in pink (originating from madebylova.wordpress.com) that I think would work great for scrap organizing! I can see adapting this in many different configurations!Hope you like it!
