Cards For Kids Blog Hop!

Hi, everyone! Welcome to the Cards for Kids Valentines Day Blog! If you have come from Melanie's blog, you're in the right place. If you're just joining us, please go to Faith Abigail's blog and start at the beginning.

Valentine's Day is the perfect time to show someone how much you love them. So this year, let's send a little love to those that need it most! Each of us has created a Valentine's Day card for a sick child and we're asking you to do the same! Simply, create a Valentine's Day card, link it to this blog entry (link-up will remain open until February 7 at 12:00am) and mail it to:

 Faith Abigail
10621 Fuller Ridge Circle
 Charlotte, NC 28270

On February 10th, all of the card's will be collected and donated to a local children's hospital. Please include a small message inside your card. Envelopes are not necessary.
My card uses Elegant Edges to create the frame.  I cut two of them for a bit of layering.  I cut a heart using the George and Basic Shapes Cartridge and covered the entire thing with little red pom poms.  I love the dimension and texture it gives!  The tag was cut using the Sentimental's Cartridge.  The stamp is by Papertrey Ink.  The flower was cut using the Mother's Day Cartridge.  I added a bit of white twine and a red brad to the center of the flower. The background was embossed with the addition of red brads and twine for a pop of color.
I love the pom poms! It makes you just want to run your finger across it, doesn't it? ; )
This is what I am giving away! : )

I am giving away a Damask Decor Cricut Cartridge, 2 packages of red line tape, Teresa Collins trim, a Tattered Angels Album, and an adorable Valentine stamp set by My Craft Spot.  I will pick a winner using random.org on FEBRUARY 1st!
What do you need to do? Do one of the following or all!  Your name will be thrown "in the hat" once for each one of these you are able to do!

1.Become a follower of my blog.
2.Advertise the blog hop on your own personal blog so we can help collect more cards!
3.Make a card to send and link it back to Faith Abigail : )  Just be sure to leave a comment here telling me so I can enter your name in more than once!
Be sure to check out what these generous ladies are giving away!

Krystal Andrew has donated one of beautiful Valentine Stamps sets!

Nicole has donated The Ultimate Color Sampler Pack featuring fourteen gorgeous colors of twine!

Monique has generously donated FIVE of her fantastic Cricut Kits: The Simple Life, Toy Story, The Stampede,  Mom and Me, and Catch a Wave.

Thank you for checking out my Cards for Kids Valentine's Day card! Please continue along to the next blog and check out all of the wonderful projects that our designers have created!

Great card, love the pom poms on the front. When I was a kid our teacher used to tell us those were "warm fuzzies" She would hand them out as incentives to get our work done. Funny how we all wanted them. :)
