Happy "Hump" day to you! It is so hard to believe that it is February 29th......and tomorrow is the first day of March. Seriously, where does time go?
St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner and I have a card to share with you that I made last year for the Cricut Circle Blog. It uses the Spring Holiday Cards Cartridge. It is such a fun little cartridge that encompasses all of the spring holidays! I dressed up my "beer" with liquid applique and while I heated it, I sprinkled glitter over it. I added googly eyes for fun and a bit of seam binding. I even pulled out the lil' sewing machine to give it a bit of texture.
I cut the clover about 8 times, stacked, and glued them together. It kind of makes your own "faux" chipboard! Then I was able to punch holes in it to create a button.
I wanted to tell all of you how touched I was by all of your kind comments about Cort. Some days are tough. Some days I want to sit and cry....and cry...and cry. But there are more days where this girl makes me smile...makes my heart sing.....and literally makes my heart ache with love for her. And it means the world to me to be able to share those bright spots with you. So thank you again.....for being so supportive of this little blog of mine.

Michele--check out www.kellehampton.com--her blog is Enjoying the Small Things. Her youngest has Downs---and she has some awesome insights...I know that's not Cort's issue-but you're both mom's who struggle (at times) with differently-abled (as I just read on Kelle's blog...) kids...the challenges...the triumphs others might take for granted. KNOW that there are those of us who see beyond their dis-abilities...and love them, too, and suppor YOU in the wonderful job you are doing! Keep up the good work (it shows in Cort's smile ; )!) Blessings, Sharon
I remember this card...it made me buy the Spring Cards cart when I thought I didn't want it. ;) I love your glitter mania!
This is totally cute! I need to do some St. Patrick's Day projects this year..I always seem to miss this one and it is TOO FUN to miss!
This is super cute, sometimes I forget what images I have on carts.
Love the card. I bet your daughter gets more love and attention than say your "normal" child, whatever that is (smiles). I'd rather have her than a "real problem" child. She's lucky to have you as a mother, too. You're very talented. All in God's plan.
Michele,
And that is the joy of it all. You and Court have our hearts. Just precious you two are.
Great card as always! I just think that is so cute.
