JustRite's April Release-Quilted Circles & Garden Tools

Thank you so much for all of the sweet comments on my blog yesterday!  It truly made my day!
I once again have TWO cards to share with you!
I am on a roll!
The first card I have was made with JustRite's new background stamp called, Quilted Circles. I stamped it on acetate and embossed it in white.  I used alcohol inks on the opposite sides ranging from green to red.
I added sequins and pearls to the front to dress it up a bit.  I added a flower that I made using the    Spellbinder's die and coffee filters.  I gave it a bit of color using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  I added a bit of ribbon and string to finish off the sentiment.

My second card uses the set, Garden Tools.  I stamped a piece of October Afternoon woodgrain paper with the garden tools to make the background a bit more interesting.  The seed packet was cut using my Silhouette and the SVG file and then stamped.  I colored it using my Spectrum Noir markers. The carrots are from a piece of October Afternoon designer paper.
I added yellow gingham ribbon, a bit of lace, twine, and a couple of posies.
This is such a cute set and has so many possibilities!

Be sure to pop on over by the other gals' blogs!  I hope you are enjoying this release as much as I am!

The daddy is taking today off to be home with Cortney.  That means this gals is returning to work.  But the good news is, it is Friday! :)
Hope you all have a fantastic day!

I love the embossing and alcohol inks on your card. Both are so perfect for the Spring gardener.

K, I've got to try that one again....it's a lovely stamp to illustrate the technique. I've made a few roses from coffee filters too, but never thought to cut them with a die...duhhhh!lol
Lovely.
