PolyChromo Pencils and a Baby Card!

Created by Michele Kovack
Good morning friends!
By the time this is posted I will be taking off for San Francisco! I am nervous and excited all at the same time!  My life has changed so much the last few months and I am finally starting to enjoy the free time I have.  (And not feel guilty as many of us moms do). I know my girl is happy and well taken care of. My heart is finally in a better place.
So soon, I will be like a honeymooner with my hubby, exploring California.
Before I left I created this card for my neighbor who just had a baby boy.
I have been having so much fun pulling out old stamps that have been collecting dust for years.
This one is by Whipper Snapper.

I used my Polychromo pencils to color the image and create the tile background, along with a white gel pen. The tag was given a wash of water colors using my Zig markers.  I added a bit of ribbon and a few Dew Drops. Oh! and a bit of sparkle to the bubbles using Stickles.

Have a great rest of your week!
Thank you for making me a part of your day! :)

Oh it's good to hear you are embracing your free time, now. I know it is a hard transition, but a good one in the end. Have fun in SF! This little card is absolutely adorable. I think the image is so sweet and you've colored it beautifully. Great background, too. I'm sure the new mom very much appreciated your thoughtfulness! :)

I'm going to the Scrapbooking Expo in our area tomorrow and will Check out the Zig markers. You should know that I teach paper crafts at our local senior center and our focal designer for July is you! I referred them to your site to check out your profile and creative style. Then printed out a selection of your creations for them to use as inspiration. Our group has been together for two years and I felt they were ready to fly so we have become an Independent Studies group with me choosing the focus for the month and bringing whatever dies & materials I think would help them with their projects rather than kits as before. You are our first and the ladies love the pretty pastels. Have a wonderful trip! We'll be thinking about you.
