Whimsy Stamps NEW January Release!!

Happy New Year!

I am excited to share one of Whimsy Stamp's newest releases called, Whale of a Time! 

These stamps are so much fun to color!

I wanted to make a few Valentine boxes and know that whales and porpoises aren't normally pink.

So I took a bit of creative license with these so they would match my treat boxes!

To create the pink "watery" background I used Whimsy's new stencil called, Speckled Heart and Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry ink.  I didn't use the heart part of it, but the outside edges.  I kept moving the stencil around to create the bubbles. 

To add to the "water" I used some of the clear droplets from the sequin mix called, Coral Coast. 

To pop up my panels for added dimension I used Crafty Foam tape under each layer.

 

The boxes themselves were cut using my Silhouette machine.

I tied a piece of white ribbon and added an additional sequin and clear drop to the center from the Coral Coast sequin pack.
