Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release day! WOOOHOO! I couldn't resist water coloring this adorable new set called, Candy Mouse! I am in love with the Karin Brushmarkers. (Specific colors will be listed below)
I wanted a no line look so I stamped the image with a no line ink. The trick with water colors is working in layers. I have a tendency to rush and not let areas dry enough. So usually when I water color I work on other projects at the same time to give it time to dry. Once the image was colored the way I wanted it, I added Stickles and Glossy Accents. I cut the image out using the Stitched Circle Dies. While the die was still in place I placed the Twinkle Stencil over it and inked it in a soft blue. Just to give the background a bit of interest.
I added a silk ribbon and a few hearts from the Sparkletz Love Hearts collection. The blue circle behind the image was cut from the 6 x 6 Giraffe Paper Pack.
