Summer Fun!

Good morning! I have another card to share using Whimsy Stamp's Sweet Summer Fun Stamp set. I colored this adorable image with Copics and cut it out with a circle die.  I had an OLD sun die cut in my stash from probably the 90's! LOL but I liked how it looked behind my image.
The yellow patterned paper is part of the 6 x 6 Starring Hearts paper pack.  I added a bit of two sided ribbon for an extra punch of color.

Summer Vibes!

Hello everyone!
I have another summer shaped card using some new and previously released products from Whimsy Stamps. The stamp is part of the Sweet Summer Fun set.  I loved coloring this sentiment....those Popsicles....Bomb Pop vibes for sure!  I fussy cut it out.  I wanted to create a cold glass of lemonade, so I used the  Frosty Glass Die set.   I was trying to figure out how to "ground" my summer sentiment and decided I needed a lime slice in the corner.
I used a circle die from the Haunted Graveyard Border set, and colored it with Copic Markers.  I added white gel pen details to make the lime more realistic.  I layered the lime, sentiment, a couple of flowers from my stash, and a bit of string. I tucked in a paper straw between the layers and a few clear droplets to finish off the card.
I hope you liked the card! :)

Whimsy Stamps New Release!

Hello friends!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release, and it has my mind thinking about summer! Warmer temps, outdoor activities, sunshine, and ice cream! I created this sweet treat with a rectangular piece of card stock and then used a corner rounder.  The drippy part of my ice cream is from the new Juicy Die set.  I gave it a generous coating of glossy accents and added sprinkles to the top.  The stamp and sentiment are from the Sweet Summer Stamp set.
I added a bit of ribbon, string, and the sentiment was cut and shaped into a banner.  The popsicle stick was painted white and glued to the back.

Whimsy Stamps New Release!

Hello!
It is Whimsy Stamp's new release, and this one is all about birthdays! I LOVE this new Happy Birthday Coverplate Die!  I cut it out of white and black card stock.  I layered them a bit off center to give it a bit of dimension.  Behind it I adhered strips of card stock to printer paper for a fun backdrop! I used the tiny stamps from the new Koala Birthday Stamp set.   The images were colored with Copics, fussy cut, and Stickles applied.

I popped them up using 3D Foam Squares.

Thank You for Your Service, Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello friends!
My husband and I just got back from Arizona. We got to see all of the bucket list items while there, Grand Canyon, Antelope Cavern, Horseshoe Bend, numerous hikes etc. My son and his wife took their honeymoon in Disney at the same time we were gone. While there he was selected as veteran of the day while there.  He was part of the flag folding and color guard ceremony.  He was touched and extremely proud, and so was this mama.
So Whimsy Stamps had great timing with their newest stamps and dies celebrating our military.  As a DT member, it touches my heart that they created these sets. I used the new Sheroes Die set.  It was intended for a female military person, but I knew I wanted to save these cards for my son.  The edges of the circles have crackle paste on them and once dry I rubbed some brown distress crayon in the cracks.  The paper is part of the new Military Slimline Paper Pack.  I did a bit of machine stitching on the edges and distressed them. A few stars and twine finish off the card.
Sheroes Die and the Slimline Military Paper Pack was used again here.  I layered some vintage tags that were splattered and distressed. I added a red poppy and burlap.
And here is my son graduating from the Nuclear Program in South Carolina.  So proud of this kid of mine!
