Whimsy's March Release!

Good morning and happy Friday to you!
I just can't seem to get enough of Whimsy Stamp's Beaucoup Bouquet and Butterflies Fluttering set!
I colored each of the flowers using the Zig Clean Color markers.
I cut out each of the flowers using the coordinating Beaucoup Bouquet Die set.   I decided on a circular card using the new Pierced and Stitched Circle dies.  For the smaller circle I stamped it using my favorite background stamp, Spiral Roses in Picked Raspberry.

I arranged the flowers and leaves in a circular pattern and added a sentiment using the Friend Word and Shadow Die. I sponged the back of the letters with Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade Oxide inks. I popped it up using Crafty Foam Tape. With this many flowers I felt it was needed to have a pretty lil' butterfly.  I used the new  Butterflies Fluttering stamp set.  I used the Zig Clean Markers to give it a multicolored look. For a final touch I used the hearts from the Sparkletz-Love Hearts collection.
Have a wonderful weekend! I am picking up my daughter, Cortney this weekend. She is getting her 3rd round of Botox in her legs to help with her walking.  She is walking up to 10 feet (assisted) which is incredible.  She hadn't taken any steps in 5 years! So progress is being made! Please pray that she continues to make strides!
Have a wonderful weekend my friends!

Whimsy Stamp's March Release!

Good morning! I have another new March release from Whimsy Stamps to share with you!
These gorgeous flowers are part of the Beaucoup Bouquet set.  I have already made numerous cards with this set! I am a sucker for flowers.  What I like most is the variety of sized flowers and leaves you get.
I stamped the flowers on Bristol paper and colored them using Zig Clean Color Markers.  While they were drying I used the Spiral Roses Background stamp in Tim Holtz' Broken China distress ink on gray paper.
After the flowers were dry, I used the Beaucoup Bouquet coordinating die cuts to cut them out.
I did add a bit more of the Broken China Distress Ink to the  smaller white panel and splattered it with water, white ink, and a bit of dark blue water color.  I layered the flowers and used Crafty Foam Tape for some, to give it added dimension.
I wanted to add a little, somethin' somethin' to my card and decided on a butterfly from the Butterflies Fluttering set.  Zig Clean Color markers are perfect for adding multiple colors to the image.  I also added a sentiment using the Friend Word and Shadow Die.
I wanted a bit of bling so added a few pearls and faceted hearts from the Sparkletz Love.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I always appreciate your visits!

Whimsy Stamp's March Release-Butterflies Fluttering!

Good morning and happy weekend to you!
My whole house is sick with some kind of a virus and I feel like the disinfectant queen!
Washing sheets, wiping down everything....you know the drill!
I did manage to play with Whimsy Stamp's newest March release, Butterflies Fluttering!
The butterflies in this set are absolutely breathtaking!
I used my Zig Clean Color markers to apply the color directly onto the stamp.  I knew I wanted to create a colorful, rainbow-ish butterfly. I fussy cut it and put it to the side so I could work on the background.
I used my Zigs to create the background as well.  I scribbled on a glass block with each color and picked up the color with a brush.  I tilted the paper back and forth so the colors would run into each other a bit.  I stamped the sentiment on black card stock using Versamark and white embossing powder.  I cut it into a strip.
I used Whimsy's Friend Word die from last month's release as part of the sentiment.
I assembled all of the pieces and popped up the butterfly using Crafty Foam Tape for added dimension.  I also added some teeny gold stars from the Lucky Charm's Sparkletz
I felt the back panel was a bit too stark so I dipped the edges in Versamark ink and gold embossing powder.  I felt like it jazzed it up a bit without distracting from the main image.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
I will have so much more to share! March is an awesome release month!

Thank Ye Matey!

Happy Thursday!
I have one last card to share with you using the ARRGG Pirate set from Whimsy Stamps.  Tomorrow is their March release and I can't wait to share all of the new sets!
But for today, I am still in pirate mode. ;)
I stamped my own background using black Memento ink.
I cut a circle for the sentiment.  I colored my dragon pirate dude with Copic markers.  I decided to incorporate the Smile die cut and give it a bit of sparkle with  Nuvo Glitter Drops.
I used a touch of glittery paper on the right hand side for a bit more sparkle.  Dragons like glitter too!

I am so happy you stopped by today!
Have a great day!

Pirate Birthday Treats!

So are you surprised to see another project using Whimsy Stamp's Arrgg Pirates set?  ;)
I just think the images are so dang cute!  This parrot?  He looks quite "pirate-ee" with his wooden peg leg!
I cut these cut treat boxes using my Silhouette.
I stamped the smaller images and colored them with Copic marker.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it in white.
I bit of red twine, glossy accents, and some highlights with a gel pen, and these bad boys are party ready!
