Whimsy's September Release!

Hello friends!
So hard to believe that it is September 1st already!  I am excited to share that Whimsy Stamps has their brand new release of Halloween goodies today!
I used the adorable, Build a Graveyard set using gray and black paper. I stamped the cracks in the tombstones and the epitaphs from the new Grave Epitaphs stamp set. I love making treat bags for my colleagues at school, so I wrapped a piece of the Sugar Skull paper around the glassine bag.
I adhered everything to the bags and glued a few gems and lil' ghosties from the Sparkletz Boo collection.  Fill up those bags with candy and you have a "hauntingly" good treat! ;)

Have a great day!

Instagram Hop!

Hello friends!
Today Whimsy Stamps is hosting a fun Instagram hop! (There are prizes too!) Be sure to head on over to my Instagram page to check out all of the fabulous projects! So many fun ideas!
I used the new Spooktacular Stamp set. I colored each of the cutie pie ghosts (I love cute Halloween, not scary Halloween!) with Copic markers. Could the ghost taking a selfie be any cuter? ;)  I also used the Slimline Film Strip Die for the background.  The stars were the negative space using the Slimline Stars Background die. I added the teeny bats from the Sparkletz Boo collection.

Dia de Muertos

Hello!
I hope you are having a fantastic weekend!
I have two cards to share with you today using Whimsy Stamp's new August release products! I adore this new set, Skull Cuties. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies.  For both cards I used the Sugar Skulls 6 x 6 paper pad.  For this first card I wanted my girl to stand out a bit, so I used the Connected Oval Frame Die and silver glittery paper. I added a black silk bow and found these fun tassels in my stash.
For my second card I used quite a few of the pieces in the Skull Cuties set and used it with the Wonky Window die. I popped up the elements using Crafty Foam Tape.  I tied a white silk ribbon vertically to finish off the card

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Halloween Release From Whimsy Stamps!

Hello everyone!
I have just finished my first day of school. No students yet, just meetings, but it was so great seeing my colleagues after 5 months! Our district is implementing the hybrid model and fingers crossed it is successful!

Today is Whimsy Stamp's Mini release! So many fun Halloween products! I used the new Boo Die set. I cut out the word, Boo, about 6 times from orange and black paper and stacked and glued them. The top layer was cut in white and colored in Copics.  I love the dimension that it gives the card!
For the background I used the new Day of the Dead Frame.  It was also colored in Copics.  I added red rhinestones to the skull and glossy accents to the flames.  This was such a fun card to make!
Be sure to hop on over to the Whimsy Store to see all of the other fun products that were released today!
Have a great day!

Celebrate Panda Style!

Hello friends! I have a new card using Whimsy Stamp's Crittercorn set.  I colored this adorable panda with Copics.  I inked up the background and used a heart stencil for a subtle background. I added a few of the mushrooms from the set and adhered them with Crafty Foam Tape.  I added glitter (maybe a bit too much, lol) to the balloon star.
I used the green heart paper from the Rainbow Paper Pack.  I added ribbon and a few more flowers from the Garden Party Sprinkletz collection.

I am off to enjoy a round of golf with they hubby!
Have a great day!

Get Your Spook On!

As if this year hasn't been crazy enough, the Chicago land area got hit with horrible storms yesterday! A tornado in downtown Chicago? Crazy!
Our home survived with minimal water in the basement, so I am counting ourselves very lucky.
Today's card is part of  Whimsy Stamp's August 10th release.  It is called, Spooktacular. Such a fun Halloween set! I couldn't choose which ghost I wanted, so I used all of them!
Everything was colored with Copics. I added glossy accents to the eyes, and Stickles to the pumpkins.
I also used the new Slimline Stars Background Die.  I inked up the paper first and splattered it with white acrylic paint.  Then I used the die.  I saved all of the stars for future projects too! I created a shaker card using acetate and the Boo Sparkletz.
Thank you for stopping today! I always love your visits!

Whimsy Stamp's August Release!

Hello friends!
Whew! What a week it has been!  My computer of 9 years finally kicked the bucket and I had to order a new one, which is why I haven't posted anything this past week. (Boo!) I also had to have oral surgery to investigate a cyst that was under my gum line.  Long story short, they investigated a bit and decided to do another X-ray in 6 mos.  So it has been a bit of a crazy week!
Anywho, today is Whimsy Stamp's new August release, and I got to work with this adorable new set, Fairy Dreams. I colored these cuties with Copic markers and fussy cut them.
I used various Tim Holtz inks for the background and used the new Slimline Stars Background die.  I backed it with silver glittery paper.  I adhered the girls with Crafty Foam Tape.  I added the sentiment and Crystal Stars from the Sparkletz collection.
Thank you for stopping by! I am so glad I got to be part of your day! :)
Be sure to check out all of the other new products from Whimsy!
