For this first card I took a chipboard heart and wrapped it completely with a soft baby yarn. I added a Prima flower and button to dress it up.
I used some K & Company, Papertrey, and vintage papers. The buttons are by Papertrey. Have you noticed my obsession to doilies lately? Oh! AND I even sewed a bit for this card! (The poor machine has yet to sew a stitch of my clothing!)
*** Got my results from my X-ray.....completely normal. (whew!) So I guess the theory of having allergy induced asthma is the current diagnosis. Guess I will continue my Advair......
Thanks so much for stopping by!!! : )

This card is so soft & pretty. I agree w. Margie, I've been too chicken to try knitting LOL.

So glad to hear that the x ray was clear!! Love the use of the yarn on the card and I have to giggle....my husband said to me, how come you can sew on paper, but no sew my ripped pocket in my pants. Oops...sorry!!!! have a great Wednesday!

Cute card! I love how you wrapped the yarn around your heart! What a great idea to re-use things for other purposes that normally would not get used anyway. Just love it!
Love the sweet, soft look of this card! I just taught my 6 yo to finger knit the other day, and she is obsessed with it now. I have a feeling our yarn stash is going to grow rapidly. Thanks for the inspiration for using yarn on my papercrafts. Glad to hear your x-ray was clear!
That is a really cute idea! TFS. I'm gonna have to try that with all my yarn my mom gave me to start crocheting...it didn't work out..lol.
Chelle - love the use of yarn, and all your vintage papers. Your card is SENSATIONAL. I have asthma too and use Advair every day and only use the Albuterol inhaler when I have an attack. It will take a little more time for the Advair steroid to kick into your system. Drinking warm (close to hot) water or beverages helps open my bronchials for some reason.
Adorable card!
Cute cute cute card!! I have a huge basket of yarn from my one foray into knitting!!!
Glad to hear that the x-rays came back normal!
smiles,
Awesome idea!!! I'm absolutely going to wrap some chipboard this weekend! :)
