I am Ready for Summer Anytime It Would Like to Show Up!

I don't know how the weather is in your part of the woods, but here in Chicago.....it is very cool and rainy! Yesterday and today, the high was in the low 60's and rain. We have gotten a couple of warm "teaser" days here and there......but that's it! I can not tell you how much I want it to get sunny and HOT! (Remind me of these words around mid August will ya?) I want to sip my lemonade (or other cold beverage ; ) by the pool. I want my windows open and the curtains blowing in the breeze. (Unlike tonight where I am tempted to put my heat on!) I WANT SUMMER!!!!

Here is Riley lounging in his hammock between the palm trees, and having HIS cold beverage. Mai Tai maybe?

Nothing says summer like an umbrella drink! : )

Image colored with Copics, paper by DCWV Citrus pack, and the sand is actually embossing powder called..........sand!
Don't forget, you have one more day to enter my blog candy! Drawing will be held on Friday evening. Go HERE if you'd like a chance to win!
Off to bed I go.....to dream sunny thoughts! : )

Wow - i love this card - especially the texture in the sand. Love your coloring - still working on that. I don't have any Riley stamps but I think I need to get some - I have seen some amazing cards being made with those cute little moose-Meese? lol

thanks for stopping by. I will be back to visit again - great inspiration.

Love the card - very summery :)

Its just setting into winter here in South Australia. It is meant to be raining all week - I love rain - and we need it so bad to break the droughts.

Enjoy your summer :)
