Me......

These last few months have been hectic and trying to say the least. I still am reeling over the loss of my best friend Jen. I thought I'd be ok. I thought I'd pick myself up right away and move on. Nope. Still tears and anguish and trying my hardest to be chipper and positive. Because honestly, even though my life has it's trials, I am a pretty lucky girl. I logically know that.....but sometimes my heart hurts anyway. So today....this LO focuses on the little and not so little things in my life that make me happy.......

I used Noel Mignon's Seaside Cottage kit. (sold out) I used my Spellbinders to cut the butterflies from the printed transparency from the kit. I added pearls to their bodies. I love how soft and pretty they are.

This dress form wasn't in the kit, but IS found in Noel's store. It is by Artchix. I dressed it up with fabric from the kit and a ribbon and Prima flower from my own personal stash.
Here is my little list of happiness.........just a peek. : )

Thank you for coming here to visit each week......it is on my list of happy things! You are part of this wonderful hobby and my friends. This blog has been such a great place to vent, journal, and share my joys as well as some of heartaches with you. So for that.......thank you.
Hoping you have a wonderful weekend!

Michele, I know how you feel. There are many times I want to pick up the phone and call my mom, but I can't. I guess I need a lot of time. Take care, Sharon

Wow! What a beautiful page! Unfortunately the hurt is part of the healing.. It lets you know how much you've loved... and how important that is!

Well, 1st thing, great picture of you, looks like a pro took it. I love your butterflies, they are totally awesome! The layout is wonderful too, I like the dress and I like Modern Family. Although I relate more to the Mom on In The Middle. Grieving takes time, it is hard to lose someone so young. But time is the only thing that will make the hurt go away. Take care, ~Diane
