Moxie Fab Sketch Challenge!

Have you seen THIS new magazine by PaperCrafts? It is such a great resource! There are many times I have a creative block and I love to refer back to sketches to help me out. So I decided to play along and create a card based on this sketch! I've never used a word bubble in any of my cards........guess that's why they call it a "challenge!" : ) So here is the sketch over at Moxie Fab World!

I pulled out some of my very neglected stamps and decided on this Inkadinkado Hen and a Cornish Heritage Farm Chicken Wire, background stamp. I was trying to be somewhat clever with my word bubble.....but as I am not really a "clever" person.....this was the best I could do....... : )
The hen was colored with my Copics, cut out, and Crystal Effects was applied to her whole body. Her beak was stamped and colored a second time. I cut it out and popped it up a bit. The grass was cut using my Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge. I did a bit of distressing around the edges as well!

It is Friday......and I couldn't be happier! My plans this weekend are to go to my Grandma's house Saturday morning and clean, clean, clean! She is almost 90 and she can't do this herself....so I will be a "Merry Maid" for a few hours. Saturday night, the hubby and I are going on a "date." I am thinking a dinner and show. I'd like to see Date Night......because I could use a good laugh! (Anyone see it? Did you like it? ) Then on Sunday......church, finish some picture hanging in my bedroom that was just repainted, and that's about it. : ) What ya got up your sleeves this weekend? Inquiring minds wanna know!
Have a great one.....whatever you decide to do!!! : )

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment, it's much appreciated.
Love the chicken card. I'm traveling to the US (Tucson) on April 23rd and the magazine is on my shopping list.
My plans for the weekend: tomorrow I'm going to visit a big stamp event in Zeist and on Sunday my daughter has a piano recital. Looking forward to the weekend.
Eveline.
