Guess who made top 5 for last week's Tuesday Trigger? I'll give you one guess! I was so darn excited to see my name at the top of the list! Now, I have to admit this week's Tuesday Trigger was a bit of a "stumper" for me. I wasn't sure what I wanted to take from it and incorporate into my card. I loved the idea of the little table and resting something on it. And, I always love making thank you cards......to me they are the most important of all cards! I used some of the colors, but also used a few additional colors as well. So without further delay, here is my altered brown bag/gift card holder/thank you card! (Say that 15 times fast!; ) I put a Dunkin Donuts gift card inside.
I used this darling little coffee cup cut from the I Love You a Latte cartridge. I added liquid applique to create a sort of froth....because it is cappuccino! ; ) I paper punched a circle out of text paper and folded it in half to create a sort of "table" for my cup. I framed it with a Maya Road chipboard that had been painted white, spritzed with pink Shimmerz, glossy accents and glitter applied. The tag is cut from the Sentimental's cartridge and the sentiment is by Papertrey Ink. The twine, which I LOVE, is from Pink Paislee.
Maybe I deviated from the Trigger too much......but I am pleased with how my little gift card holder turned out!

Love love love the gift card. I have some in my craft room and I did get a Cricut Imagine!! Now all I need is the I love you a Latte cartridge. I wanted it anyway just haven't been able to find it locally. I am looking forward to being able to use your Cricut ideas in my cardmaking now. Thanks A Latte!!!
