Good morning and Happy Valentine's Eve to you! I wasn't sure what tomorrow was going to bring, so I thought I'd post my Valentine a day early! (Just in case!) I created this felt Valentine using my Cricut and CCR Cricut Font & Basic Shapes. When cutting felt with your Cricut be sure to iron on Heat N' Bond on one side. Tape it well to the mat, use your deep cut blade, and don't pick an image that is too intricate! I cut two hearts and sewed the pieces together with a vintage trim between the two. I cut multiple flowers in varying sizes using the Flower Shoppe Cartridge. I stacked the flowers and added a rhinestone in the center. The leaves were also from the Flower Shoppe Cartridge. I added seam binding and a crocheted flower to tuck under my paper flower.
A couple of stick pins were added too! Oh, and did forget to mention that I glittered the felt? Before assembling the flowers and such, I sprayed the entire heart with a spray glue and sprinkled the glitter on top of it. I just can't resist to constantly reach for that bottle of glitter!
Have a wonderful Monday! Thank you for stopping by!

Another beautiful card! I love your glitter use as always. And your cutting of the felt is very inspiring.
I just love your style, I want to be just like you when I grow up! I would think it was unfinished if you left off the glitter!
This is gorgeous!! I love the glitter and lace! Your seam binding is so pretty!
