Good morning to you! It is a rainy, gloomy morning here in Chicago. But it doesn't matter because my heart is light and much of it is due to the girl's day I spent with my sister yesterday. She lives a state away, has kids, works full time, and it is difficult for her and I to get together. But she set the day aside for me, my hubby and father-in-law took care of things here at home, and that left us a day to visit, laugh, shop, eat, and shop some more!
I have an Easter card to share with you today. It uses the new CCR Easter Blessings file. I loved the lilies and decided to use that image. I "grounded" the flowers with a circle cut from George and Basic Shapes. I added layers of vintage lace at the bottom and did a bit of machine stitching.
Rhinestones, twine, sentiment, and a stick pin were added to dress it up a bit. I am a firm believer, that it's "all in the details!"
After making the card, I realized I had made a silly error......can you spot it? Because now that I know what I did wrong, it is screaming at me! I should fix it......but I probably won't now!
Have a wonderful day and weekend my friends!
: )

I have tried but can't find your "silly error" It is a challenge to me now so will keep coming back to it till I find it. I really do love the card and I think that it must not be a big error! Glad you had a fun "sister" day. Have another fun day today.. Regina
It's a gorgeous card! Glad you got to have a day with your sis. I have four of them. They are my forever best friends....even when we fight. All these blessings!
Is the bow upside down? If it is then I think that it was meant to be that way and looks great. Regina
I can't see any imperfection in your card! Looks absolutely stunning!
Sorry, Michele...can't see the error for all the beauty in it. Serioulsy, I don't see it.
This is such a beautiful card. I envy sister relationships. Glad you enjoyed your day with your sister.

It's a lovely gorgeous "George" grounded card with an uplifting message and bow. I think it is perfect and would not change a thing. So happy to hear you had a wonderful day with your sister and how all of the family made that possible.
What a beautiful card....I agree with you - "It's all in the details!" I love adding little things to my cards to make their images "pop!"
BTW - jealous you got to see your sister -- mine lives nearly 10 hrs. away! :(
Your card is gorgeous. I don't see any "silly errors". Wonderful that you got to have a special day with your sister.
It is a beautiful card...mistake or not! I think its the bow upside down, but then again it looks perfect that way, so I don't think its that! Just beautiful! Glad you had a great day with your sis!!
Hugs, Jeannine
Gorgeous card and you're right; it's all in the details right down to that little stick pin.
Why is it, whenever a person says that there's an error....Everyone starts looking for that error.
I think the ribbon bow looks great the way it is but for me, the 1 flower looks alittle 'flatter' then the other 2
I think your card looks great even with the "mistake". I had to look at the sample of the cuts on the Cricut blog. The flowers are missing the center layer. I would have never noticed if you hadn't said anything though. I think it looks great because you inked the center and added the stamen pieces to the center. That's a great idea! Now I need to hit the floral department.
Beautiful card ... missed a day of reading my blogs and I SERIOUSLY was having WITHDRAWALS ... you and a few others have become my daily dose of HAPPINESS!
OK... I see absolutely nothing wrong with this card. It's gorgeous! I have never seen those cuts before and I just love the layers of lace on the bottom. Now... they can't all be perfect, you know. There was only one perfect one and you know what they did to him. We have to take pride in imperfections. That's what it's all about! Hee! Hee! Gorgeous card!
Gorgeous card just the way it is! I'm pretty sure I've found the error (hint: not the ribbon) but since no one else has found it--I'll let the mystery continue!
