One Design Two Ways!

I love creating variations of the same card....once the LO is chosen, it is easy to simply change up the papers and colors.  It's amazing how much colors can affect the entire look of the project.  In both cards I used the butterfly from JustRite's Grand Sentiment's set.  I stamped it in Papertrey Ink's Hawaiian Shores.  I added a vellum flower, seam binding, and a jewel to the center for a soft, almost vintage feel.
My second card reminds me of the wallpaper I had in my room in the 70's!  It has a "groovy" retro feel to it.  How many of you had lots of orange in your house growing up?  Or large wallpaper murals?
;)

On Sept 27, 2012, you posted a card using decorative labels eight. I am wondering how you layered the bottom layer without cutting the holes in that intricate die. Such a beautiful effect I would like to try.

Both of these are beautiful. I know what you mean about the "orange". We had lots of "olive green".
