I have another card using the adorable Monkey Sundae stamp set! Could this little guy be any cuter?  Just look at the expression on his face? and his little round tummy!

I stamped him in a no line coloring ink and used the Karin Brushmarkers to water color him.  I added glossy accents to the ice cream and white gel pen highlights.  I cut the image out using the Rounded Rectangle's die. 

This image just screams summer to me so I stuck with a citrus color scheme and added a sun and clouds from the Up in the Clouds set. I added an orange bow for a finishing touch!

Dogs are the Best!

Hello there!

I have another card today sharing Whimsy Stamp's newest release, Super Dogs!  I think this pup is so stinking cute! I inked him up with no-line ink and watercolored him with Karin Brushmarkers. I used the Pierced and Stitched Circles Die for the larger circle.  I also used the new Burst Background in shades of blue and green.   I wanted a bit more texture so I also incorporated the new Comic Half-Tone Stencil over the stamped image.  

I stamped the sentiment in black and layered everything with Crafty Foam Tape. I tied a pink ribbon and adhered the metal word (from my stash) to the center of the bow.  I also glued a few tiny hearts from the Sparkletz collection.

Whimsy Stamps Mini Release!

I am in LOVE!

This brand new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called Monkey Sundae is the CUTEST set ever!!

I colored this adorable image with Copic markers and fussy cut it.  For the background I used several Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Pumpkin.  I splattered it with a bit of water.  I used the new Oops Word and Shadow die.  

I used the new Slimline Wonky Window die.  I cut it twice using white card stock and layered them for a bit of depth.  I stamped the sentiment using my Misti.  I added a cherry from the stamp set and gave it a coating of glossy accents.  I layered everything with Crafty Foam Tape. For a final touch I added a few stars from the Sparkletz collection. 

I hope you love this set as much as I do!  I will definitely be making more cards with this one! :)

Perk Up!

I will be the first to admit that I am a coffee addict.  I love Dunkin, Starbucks, and McDonalds.  I love hot coffee, cold coffee, the smell of coffee, and these cute coffee stamps from Whimsy.  This set is called Cool Beans. I stamped it in a light ink and water colored it using Karin Brushmarkers. I used a white gel pen to add highlights. 

I used three sizes of the Rounded Rectangles die.  The middle one was stamped lightly using the hearts included in the stamp set.  I sponged a bit of pink ink over the panel as well.  The bottom layer uses this cute dotted paper from the Festive Desert Paper pack.

It is my husband's 52nd birthday this weekend.  We are headed out to dinner tonight, El Fresco style, to celebrate. Thank you for stopping by today!

Slimline Coffee Card

Good morning!

It is raining cats and dogs here, so I think it will be a "stay in your pajamas" kind of day!

I have another card to share using the Cool Beans set from Whimsy Stamps. I have been addicted to this set and decided to color the images on kraft card stock and my Polychromo pencils.   

I used glossy accents on the lid of the cup and the sunglasses on the other.  I used a white gel pen to add highlights.  I fussy cut the images and set them aside.  I used the new Slimline Film Strip die. For the inside pieces, I wanted to add a bit of color so I used the Comic Half-Tone Stencil and inks in orange and yellow.  

I assembled the card and used a paper edger that has been in my stash for decades I think! I adhered a couple of teeny hearts and tied a bit of rustic twine.  I popped up the coffees with Crafty Foam Tape.

PolyChromos and Kraft Card Stock

Good morning! 

Are you sick of seeing this set yet? I seriously can't seem to get enough of it!

I stamped this cutie from Whimsy's Hippo Beach set.  I stamped her in Versamark ink for a no line coloring look. 

I used my Polychromo pencils to color her in.  I stamped the image in black and added a teeny heart from the Sparkletz Sweetheart collection. 

I layered the image over pink card stock and a rainbow paper from the 6 x 6 Rainbow Pack. I used Crafty Foam Tape between the layers.  I tied a ribbon at the top and added several shaped buttons from my stash to the bow.

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello friends!

I hope you are all doing okay in these trying times. 

I have been trying to escape to my craft room for some normalcy and refuge.

Whimsy Stamps came out with the cutest stamps and dies for their June release.

I stamped this cute pig from the Pig Puns 2 stamp set.  I colored him in with the Karin Brushmarkers. 

I used the new Comic Burst die and the Cosmic 6 x 6 paper pack.  I added a matching ribbon and a few stars from the Sparkletz-Crystal Stars collection.
