Happy Tuesday!

I have a slimline card today showcasing Whimsy Stamp's Ocean Fest Background stamp. 

It was stamped using Versamark and embossed in gold on black water color paper. I pulled out my ancient H2O metallic water colors.  They have such a pretty shimmer in person.  Once it was dry I added white gel pen highlights.  I adhered it to a piece of navy card stock using Crafty Foam Tape. 

I used the sentiment from the Ocean Tiles set.  It was embossed in white and wrapped in brown twine.  I used a silver starfish from my stash to attach to the twine.

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Good morning friends!

Today is June 10th, which means it is Whimsy Stamp's new release day! I used this awesome set called, Ocean Tiles-Seas the Day. I stamped each image in water proof ink and used my Zig Clean Color markers. 

I kept the card simple by just distressing the edges with scissors and adding rustic twine. I just realized I didn't use many products for this card! LOL! But no worries, head on over to Whimsy to see the full release! So many cute things to look at!

Glittery Dragon Flies

So glad you popped by today!

I have another card using Whimsy Stamp's Slimline Dragonflies background die.  I cut it into heavy cardstock and used the cardstock as a stencil for glittery texture paste.  

The sentiment is part of the Many Thanks Stamp Set.   It was first stamped in Versamark and then I used a pink glittery embossing powder.  The extra dragonflies were adhered and a pearl was added to their bodies.

Happy Camper!

Hello friends! It's been a bit since my last post.

I had a bridal shower at my house this past weekend and was definitely focused on getting everything perfect for that! It was a great day and I truly can't believe my son is getting married in 5 months! :)

But anywho....onto my card.  

This card uses Whimsy Stamp's new set called, Happy Camper Boy. So cute!

This would be great for a kiddo's birthday! He and the fire were colored with Copics and cut out using the coordinating dies. I used the smaller stamps to create a cute background, including the sentiment. 

I "grounded" my image using the scalloped frame from the Slimline Birthday Scallops die.  A bit of Stickles was added to my campfire along with a few sequins from the Bokeh Bliss Blue Green Confetti Mix.

Whimsy's New Release!

Hello my crafty friends!

Today is June 1st, can you believe it? This means it is Whimsy Stamp's new release day!

I created this slimline card using the new       Slimline Dragonflies Background die.  I smeared some glittery texture paste over the cut piece.  Once it was dry, I adhered it to black paper.  I used a white gel pen to add bodies to each dragonfly.  I cut a few extra dragon flies with white paper.  I inked them in pink and added silver to their bodies. 

The sentiment is part of the new Many Thanks     stamp set.  I stamped it on black paper with Versamark ink and embossed it in a creamy white color.  I used the coordinating die and adhered it to the dragonfly panel with Crafty Foam Tape.  I added a couple of the pink dragonflies to the sentiment for a pop of color.

Whimsy's New Release!

Hello friends!

Today is Whimsy's New release and today's card is entirely created from die cuts! The shaped card is part of the new Milk Can Die Set.  The center of it uses patterned paper from the Farmhouse paper pack.  I cut the sentiment using the new Bless Yer Heart Word Die. 

The flower was cut using the Poppy Flower Die Set. I distressed the edges to match the old rustic feel of the milk can.  I tucked the ribbon and tags under the flower.

You're Dino-Mite!

Good morning friends!

I have a fun card to share today using Whimsy Stamp's My Baby Saur Die set.  I cut them out of a lime green paper and added a few dots to their backs using a Copic Marker.  The background was stamped with the new Roarsome Skin Background Stamp. 

I cut and tucked a few leaves from the Jungle Frames Die set behind them.  I added a few hearts from the Love You Beary Much Confetti Mix.   The large heart was from my stash....probably from like 1997 or something! LOL!
