Whimsy Stamp's July Release!

Happy July!

 This summer is certainly flying by! With a new month comes a new release from Whimsy Stamps! This beauty is called Birch Frames.  

I went back to my vintage roots on this one! I colored the frame with Copic Markers and added some shadows and highlights with a black and white Polychromo pencil. I colored the bird and embossed blessed directly on the nest. I fussy cut it. 

I fussy cut the birch frame out and glued to vintage music paper. I cut out two FaDoodle Frames. I left the die in place and inked around it using Vintage Photo by Tim Holtz.  I layered all of the pieces with Crafty Foam Tape.  I adhered a ribbon and Posy.  I glued several teeny hearts from the Sweetheart Sprinkletz collection.

Rainbow Unicorn

Good morning! 

I have another card using Whimsy Stamp's Unicorn Wishes set.  I really adore this set!

I stamped this gal with a no line ink and colored it with Copic Markers.  I added a few shadows here and there with a black Prisma Colored Pencil.  I lined up the image back in my Misti and stamped just her eyes, nose, and mouth in black.  I also added Stickles to her wings. 

I used my Misti to stamp the sentiment. I layered everything with Crafty Foam Tape and added a heart from the Sprinkletz Sweetheart collection.  I tied string and added a couple of posies from my stash.

Whimsy Stamp's Mini Release!

I am so excited for Whimsy Stamp's Mini Release!  This set called, Unicorn Wishes has such fun images to color! I stamped this cutie with black Memento ink and used Copic markers.  I added Stickles to her wings.  I cut the image out using the new FaDoodles die.  I left the die in place and sponged a bit of ink around the edges.  I layered everything with Crafty Foam Tape. 

I found this ribbon in my stash and thought it was perfect for this card! I adhered a teeny heart from the Sprinkletz Sweetheart collection.

 How are you doing?

Are any of you traveling this summer?

Brian and I had canceled our spring break trip and have decided to park it at home this summer.  We might just do some day trips. Hiking, kayaking, that sort of thing. 

Today's card uses my favorite set by Whimsy Stamp's, Cool Beans.  I inked it with a no line ink and used Karin Brushmarkers to bring the image to life.  I used the new Comic Speech Bubbles die for the sentiment. 

I used Crafty Foam Tape and layered the image over this cute heart paper from the 6x6 Rainbow Pack. I tied some rustic twine around the card and called it done.  :)

Hello friends!

I have another card using the adorable Monkey Sundae stamp set! Could this little guy be any cuter?  Just look at the expression on his face? and his little round tummy!

I stamped him in a no line coloring ink and used the Karin Brushmarkers to water color him.  I added glossy accents to the ice cream and white gel pen highlights.  I cut the image out using the Rounded Rectangle's die. 

This image just screams summer to me so I stuck with a citrus color scheme and added a sun and clouds from the Up in the Clouds set. I added an orange bow for a finishing touch!

Dogs are the Best!

Hello there!

I have another card today sharing Whimsy Stamp's newest release, Super Dogs!  I think this pup is so stinking cute! I inked him up with no-line ink and watercolored him with Karin Brushmarkers. I used the Pierced and Stitched Circles Die for the larger circle.  I also used the new Burst Background in shades of blue and green.   I wanted a bit more texture so I also incorporated the new Comic Half-Tone Stencil over the stamped image.  

I stamped the sentiment in black and layered everything with Crafty Foam Tape. I tied a pink ribbon and adhered the metal word (from my stash) to the center of the bow.  I also glued a few tiny hearts from the Sparkletz collection.

Whimsy Stamps Mini Release!

I am in LOVE!

This brand new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called Monkey Sundae is the CUTEST set ever!!

I colored this adorable image with Copic markers and fussy cut it.  For the background I used several Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Pumpkin.  I splattered it with a bit of water.  I used the new Oops Word and Shadow die.  

I used the new Slimline Wonky Window die.  I cut it twice using white card stock and layered them for a bit of depth.  I stamped the sentiment using my Misti.  I added a cherry from the stamp set and gave it a coating of glossy accents.  I layered everything with Crafty Foam Tape. For a final touch I added a few stars from the Sparkletz collection. 

I hope you love this set as much as I do!  I will definitely be making more cards with this one! :)
