Good morning! It is the second day of crazy rain and storms here! I am trying to keep my basement dry as others around me are sustaining all kinds of flood damage. On a positive note, today is my last day of school! I am so excited to be home for the summer, hang out with my kids, find a bit more crafting time, and not adhere to a rigid schedule. So how appropriate of me to show you another Christmas set right? ; ) This is another beauty by JustRite and it is called, Merry and Bright. LOVE the ornaments in this set!
I apologize in advance for my lousy photograph. It has been gloomy and gray here, and it has been a bit difficult to get decent pictures! I decided to go totally nontraditional colors for this card. I colored the ornament with my Copic markers cut out the layers and added crackle accents to give it an aged feel. (I am currently addicted to this stuff!) While it was still wet I added teeny pearls to dress it up. I added some glittery goodness, seam binding, and a button tied with twine to dress up the top of my ornament.
Kyle is officially a high school freshman.......he graduated last night and I couldn't be prouder of my guy! I will have photos later this week.....once I get them edited!
Have a wonderful weekend! And if you feel any love in your heart......please leave a comment! Yesterday I was feeling a bit unloved......only 1 comment alllllllllll day! I am pathetic I know! ; )

What a gorgeous card Michele.

Very pretty cards you make ~ all of them. And I loved the cake box yesterday even if only one person commented. Maybe they are all like I am ~ extremely busy and don't take time to comment much. You are one of the very few blogs I follow. I am curious tho ~ do you like your Cricut Imagine? I notice they are on sale now for a fraction of what they were to begin with. What is the deal anyway? Is there something that isn't liked about them? I about decided to get a Silhouette. Am I crazy? I don't like the idea of having to get all those cartridges when I would use very few of the images on each one. I know you're a Cricut person so probably a poor person to ask!!
This is absolutely beautiful!
Congrats to Kyle! And I hope you have a great summer and your card was beautiful.
Love your card...so full of amazing details!!! Thanks for sharing your talent!!!
Hugs,

You are my favorite card designer - your style is exquisite! Your designs are always fresh and inspiring - I've gotten into card making because of your designs - thanks! I follow Cricut, Just Rite & your blog everyday! I don't know how you find the time to do all you do but please keep up the beautiful work! Thank you - Kim Rosati
Wow, Michelle, this card really is great! I have never tried the crackle technique, but now I definitely have to!! Hope your weekend goes great! We are off to Galveston (live in SW Louisiana) to enjoy a karate tournament, but I'll really enjoy the swimming more...teehee!
Hugs, Sharon
