Life has been throwing a few emotional curve balls my way this week.
My solace, my happy place, the place I can escape and ponder life is in my craft room.
I am blessed and grateful for this hobby.
I love dandelions. It reminds me of my childhood when we would find as many as we could, close our eyes, make a wish, and blow. Then when they turned yellow, I would gather as many as my hands could hold and hand them to my mom.
She would gratefully accept and place them in one of her pretty vases.
This image is part of the Crafty Secret's Flower Garden digital collection. I colored it with Copics and splattered it with a bit of black water color. The background behind it was water colored using my Zig Clean Brush Markers. I added a few embellishments to finish it off.
Thank you for stopping here for a visit. Your comments are such a bright spot to my day.
Have a wonderful weekend!
I will be back on Monday with a Crafty Secret's Design Team Challenge post!

The colours you have used are just perfect for this image. The blue and the little touches of yellow. The gem, watercolour background all go together to give this a fairy like quality. I hope life gets better, it can be so hard sometimes.
Such a very beautiful and feminine card! Love the colours and layers!

This is such a pretty image and you made it look magical! I hope life quits throwing so many curve balls at you.
A beautiful card - I really like the soft colours - and the dandelions do bring back happy memories!
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Wow this is gorgeous!! I love that blue background so much!!
Love the card---and know all too well about "emotional curve balls"! Sadly, I cannot even focus enough to create/finish anything--and that's usually my solace/happy place as well! Here's prayers for better days for both of us!
Blessings, Sharon
