Buggies & Booties Stamp
Well, My spring break is almost over! I cranked out a couple of cards and thought I would post one this late Saturday night. I have report cards to complete and lesson plans to write....so sad when vacation is over:( BAck to reality! Anyway, I struggled a bit with this card. The set is from SU! and I borrowed it from my Mom-in-law. I tried embossing a baby carriage and didn't like how it was turning out, so some how I ended up with this. All in all I think it turned out OK. I'm looking at other people's blogs and noticing that blog candy is a big thing. Maybe I need to start doing that?? Please leave a comment on what you think about that:)
Jumpalina!
I have met some of the nicest people on the blogs. I am so thrilled to have won "blog candy" from a talented artist, Cambria Turnbow! She had a contest about naming this cutie pie! My son came up with the name, Jumpalina! I won! SO here is this adorable card:) Thanks Cambria! P.S. Thanks for the ribbon too:D P.S.S. You can connect to her blog entitled: Stamp a Little Love Baby! (Don't know how to add a link yet!)

Soul Mate
Well, I finally made the decision that if I ever want to be published I would have to submit pages. I don't know if I'm good enough to be published, but I am certainly going to try! I submitted this page to Creating Keepsakes. It's probably as good of a chance of being published as winning the lottery...but hey who knows? Tell me what ya think:)
Christmas in March!
Well I'm trying really hard to get caught up in my scrapbooking. Takin a break from the cards, although it's hard because I just got all my goodies from SU! Can't wait to "play." But I digress...Christmas...who can concentrate on Christmas when Easter is just around the corner? I had a ton of pictures which always makes it difficult for me to scrap them. I don't know if I'm crazy about this layout...please tell me if I should "add" anything or take away anything....Any suggestions are welcome! Well gotta scrap some more Christmas pictures....It's the last day of my Spring Break!:( BOO HOO!

Coaster Magnets
Entenmann's Little Bites
I have to share this little story with you. I was at Jewel the other day and purchased these Entenmann's Brownie bites, thinking they were perfect for lunches. I guess I really didn't read the package closely....My husband leaves for work by 4:30 in the morning and likes to have his cup of coffee with something sweet. So wouldn't you know it? He grabs the Entenmann's Brownie Bites! Perfect right? A little brownie to go with your coffee? He came home and told me he tried these "little" bites and made me go get one out of the pantry. He says, "Open them...go ahead open them." I'm expecting snakes to jump out of there! I proceeded to open the package when lo and behold there were 6....yes I said 6, little, tiny, minuscule, microscopic, puny, small ....Brownie bites! We were cracking up! I guess when they said "Brownie Bites" they weren't lying! What did they do take one little brownie and cut it into teeny tiny squares? I guess so! This must be why they are only 100 calories:)

Shoe Layout!
As promised I want to scrapbook the everyday occurrences that make up our lives. My kids aren't going to remember every birthday but my kids will giggle at the fact that there were ALWAYS shoes by the door! IT drives their father CRAZY! I definitely want to scrap those hated chores like laundry and matching the 700 single socks that somehow end up in the basket:) SO watch for more "normal everyday" layouts!

Spring Can
Well, I am off for Spring Break this week, and my children have theirs next week and the following week. How crazy is that? 3 different schools, 3 different spring breaks. At first I was upset, but now I am taking advantage of my alone time. Create, Create, ....clean...Create! I wanted to make a Spring Can for my Step-mom for Easter. She loves candles, so I figure this would be a cute "package" for it. I think I went too crazy with the ribbon, but once I got started I couldn't stop! I used some adhesive ribbon to go around the can. I also cut some of the ribbon for the "stems" of the Prima flowers. I found this cute "pail" stamp by Stampendous. I used my new recently purchased, off E-bay, Prisma colored pencils. Used the Souffle pens to outline the eggs. I think for my first "pail" it came out pretty cute :)

Yea!!! My room is clean...for now:)
I did it! I did IT! My scrapbook room is clean and organized! I purged tons of old supplies, that are either going to school with me or were pitched in the garbage! Now I won't want to scrapbook for a couple of days because it's so clean. I'll get over that quickly I'm sure! Of course during the whole cleaning process I have realized that I truly have a sickness....But I keep buying more? Maybe I need to up my homeowner's insurance?
