Fairy Tales

Hello my friends!
I have a quick post today sharing two cards using some dies, stamps, and papers from Whimsy Stamps.
My first card uses the gorgeous papers from the 6 x 6 Enchanted Mushrooms paper pack.  I used the Mitered Frame Dies.  I sanded each frame separately and then reassembled them.   I did a bit of machine stitching. I die cut the Fairy Tales with pink paper. The die cut heart was in my stash and embossed it and inked it with a bit of white ink.  I added a cluster of satin flowers from my stash to layer over it.
My second card uses the Enchanted Forest Die.  I used dark green card stock and inked the bottom of the trees in gold.  I layered it over dark blue card stock which I had splattered with white paint.  Foam adhesive was used to give it some dimension.  The frame is part of the Forever Cameo set.  I inked a cream colored frame in a light blue and added clear crackle paste over the entire thing.  Once dry, I added Distress Crayon (Salvaged Patina) to the cracks. The stamp set if from the Book Nerd Stamp set.  I also included the Fairy Tale and wand from the Book Die set.  A bit of machine stitching and gold sequins were a finishing touch.
Thanks so much for visiting!

Summerween!

Hello!
I have two fun and quick cards to share with you today! Both cards were created using Whimsy Stamp's new Quick Card Fronts, Summerween! Even vampires and mummies need a vacation! LOL!
To add interest to the images I used the Wavy Pierced Rectangles Die set.  I popped the outer portion up with Crafty Foam Tape.  I cut the sentiment into a strip and adhered it vertically.  I added a few little embellishments to finish off the card and called it done.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful weekend!

New Release From Whimsy! Old Fart Inflation!

Whimsy has done it again! These new quick cards, Old Fart Inflation are a riot! We have all felt the frustration of the prices continuing to rise and there is nothing we can do about it! ;) Except maybe complain a lot! LOL!

I used the new Portrait Dies to create the frame around the image. I cut the sentiments with the Quick Strips 4 Die set.  I added some twine and coordinating gem stones to finish the card off.

Hope you got a chuckle out of these cards! :)
Have a wonderful day!

His Grace-6 Cards to Share Today!

Hello friends!
I have 6 cards to share with you today using Whimsy Stamp's new Quick Card Fronts, His Grace.  The images are absolutely stunning.  All of the cards shown have machine stitching on them.  This first set of cards uses the Mix and Match Scallop Rectangles and the Quick Strips 4 Die set for the sentiment. I added a satin ribbon and a teeny pink butterfly from the Field of Butterflies Die set.
My next pair of cards uses the Pierced and Stitched Circles Die to create a frame.  I added the sentiment using the Quick Strips 4 dies.  I added a few clouds and a butterfly from the Field of Butterflies die set.

This card uses the Terrific Tickets Add-Ons die to create the frame around the image.  I tied twine multiple times around the frame and found a praying hands charm in my stash.

My last card today uses the Savior Die set to create the frame around the image. I once again used the Quick Strips 4 dies for the sentiment. I adhered an orange bow along the bottom and then tied a large silk bow.  Little red posies and string were adhered to the bow's center.

I hope you enjoyed your visit with me today! I always appreciate you popping by!
Have a great day!

Buckle Up! 8, Yes 8 Cards to Share Today!

Hello friends!
Don't faint, but I have 8 cards to share with you today!
My sweet MIL who passed this past July loved giraffes.  She collected them, and I inherited some of them.  When I saw this new Quick card set, Heartfelt Giraffes, from Whimsy Stamps, I knew each image had to be made into a card.
The first two cards uses the Wavy Pierced Rectangle dies.  I used Tim Holtz's Metallic Jewels Kraft Cardstock.  I sanded the edges and then inked them up with brown ink.  I added some die cut hearts from the new Field of Flowers die set. Red Twine was added to each and a sentiment to finish off the cards.

The next 5 cards use the Mix and Match Scallop Rectangle Dies.   I popped up some of the panels with Crafty Foam Tape, added a sentiment and a ribbon.
The next four cards are similar to the one above, but I did incorporate more of the Tim Holtz Metallic Kraft paper.  I also changed the ribbon to twine and some coffee stained red ribbon.

This last shaker card was so fun to make! I added a layer of the acetate behind the frame, added my shaker beads, a scattering of hearts and some coffee stained ribbon.
One last look at all 8 cards!  I LOVE this set so much!!!

Thank you for stopping by!
Check out Whimsy Stamp's new release! I will be back soon with other creations from this release.

Last Minute Christmas Cards

Hello friends!
I am knee deep in cooking today for Christmas Eve.  I am taking a little break to post a few Christmas cards I created.
This first one was made using Whimsy Stamp's Quick Cards, Woodland Santa.  I know I say this every time, but these images are so beautiful.  But I gotta be me and fancy it up a bit more.  I created a shaker card using the Inverted Scallops Die.  The frame was adhered to acetate and popped up with some crafty foam tape.  I finished it off with some rustic twine and a couple of jingle bells.
My second card is so silly and fun and uses the Snow Over it! Living in Illinois, we have already had a ton of snow and super cold temps and it's only December!  How will we survive another 3 months of this? So this was a card after my own heart for sure! I created a scene with all of the images. I used the  Polka Dot Stencil for the background along with some snowflakes die cut from the Elegant Snowflakes and Border Die set.  I finished the card off with twine. :)
Have a very Merry Christmas!!
Thank you for always stopping by!
