Just got home from Cortney's yoga class. It is just warms my heart to no end when I see her interact with her friends. They "sort of " do yoga, tickle each other's feet, and can't wait to say Namaste! (Then they know that it is over and it is time to watch Hannah Montana while us moms chit chat!) So it is kind of late, I need to shower, and get ready for work tomorrow....so this will be a quickie sort of post! JustRite is still holding their contest using their preinked words. I decided to blow off the dust from last year's Elzybells stamp. I think this image is so sweet! The DP is Melissa Frances and yes, that is sewing on my card! I wanted to dress up the card a bit, so I used my SU! felt snowflakes threaded with buttons and silver ribbon from Papertrey. I used the word Joy from JustRite. It is part of the baby set. If you haven't entered yet, you have until 6PM tomorrow night.
Have a great weekend everyone!!!!
My thoughts and ideas for cardmaking and an occasional altered project!

Design Team Round Up!
The 15th of every month, Sweet 'n Sassy has their DT round-up. All of the DT members create a card for the blog showcasing all of the new sets! I chose to use the, "My Little Chickadee," set. I colored him in with my Prismas and Gamsol. I cut him out and placed him on a circle that was cut from Basic Grey paper and Nestibilities. The DP is by Memory Box. I added 2 velvet leaves by Prima to the branch. And of course, no card would be complete without a ribbon! Head on over to Sweet 'n Sassy's blog to see what the other ladies have created!
Have a great day! Thanks so much for visiting!

Halloween Crafty Secrets Style!
I adore this Halloween set by Crafty Secrets! This cutie pie witch looks so pensive and sweet. I used a recycled piece of cardboard for the base and added SU! cardstock. I created clouds with grey ink and my special "cloudmaker" from SU! The fence was created using Martha Stewart's border punch. All of the images were colored with Copics and cut out. I layered each one with pop dots for added dimension. I added some cute fringe, buttons, and a black scalloped edge.
I have decided to cut my hair really short, and have an appt. next week. Can anyone suggest a good "hair" website? I need some ideas and refuse to buy those overpriced magazines at the store!
Thanks for stopping by....and a comment would be GREATLY appreciated!....I'm feeling a bit unloved these days! LOL!

Hot Chocolate Anyone?
Did you know that JustRite is hosting another contest? Go here for more details on how to enter! It is easy peasy to participate. All you need to do is use one of their preinked letters or words to make a card or project. I bought these bags awhile ago at Michaels in their clearance section. They are by Martha Stewart. Since I have so many teachers, bus drivers, and therapists to buy for at Christmas, I thought I could create little "Hot Chocolate" gift bags! I used the JustRite Baking Stamp Ensemble. I colored the mug in with my Copics and used liquid applique for the whipped topping/marshmallow....whatever you prefer on your hot chocolate! The circles and scalloped circles were cut using my Spellbinders. The word, enjoy, was a preinked word from the Life set.
I can tell you from experience that you NEED to enter this contest.....JustRite is a VERY generous company!
Back to work today...... mmmmmm....wonder if my 5th graders missed me? : )

Where Have I Been?
On a much needed vacation to Disney World! It was so great to get away from all of our usual responsibilities for a week. We were able to spend time together as a family and reconnect. Sometimes, as I'm sure all of you feel, life has a funny way of getting in the way of that "togetherness." We had a great time exploring all the parks at Disney. I took about 200 pictures, so I won't bore you with all of them....just a little sampling! I am sure you will see them in the future in my scrap pages!
I now have to find a way to get back to "real" life! I feel a bit out of the loop with everyone! So slowly but surely, I will be creating again! Hope everyone had a great week! Missed ya's!
