Have a great weekend everyone!!!!
My thoughts and ideas for cardmaking and an occasional altered project!

The 15th of every month, Sweet 'n Sassy has their DT round-up. All of the DT members create a card for the blog showcasing all of the new sets! I chose to use the, "My Little Chickadee," set. I colored him in with my Prismas and Gamsol. I cut him out and placed him on a circle that was cut from Basic Grey paper and Nestibilities. The DP is by Memory Box. I added 2 velvet leaves by Prima to the branch. And of course, no card would be complete without a ribbon! Head on over to Sweet 'n Sassy's blog to see what the other ladies have created!
I adore this Halloween set by Crafty Secrets! This cutie pie witch looks so pensive and sweet. I used a recycled piece of cardboard for the base and added SU! cardstock. I created clouds with grey ink and my special "cloudmaker" from SU! The fence was created using Martha Stewart's border punch. All of the images were colored with Copics and cut out. I layered each one with pop dots for added dimension. I added some cute fringe, buttons, and a black scalloped edge.
Did you know that JustRite is hosting another contest? Go here for more details on how to enter! It is easy peasy to participate. All you need to do is use one of their preinked letters or words to make a card or project. I bought these bags awhile ago at Michaels in their clearance section. They are by Martha Stewart. Since I have so many teachers, bus drivers, and therapists to buy for at Christmas, I thought I could create little "Hot Chocolate" gift bags! I used the JustRite Baking Stamp Ensemble. I colored the mug in with my Copics and used liquid applique for the whipped topping/marshmallow....whatever you prefer on your hot chocolate! The circles and scalloped circles were cut using my Spellbinders. The word, enjoy, was a preinked word from the Life set.
On a much needed vacation to Disney World! It was so great to get away from all of our usual responsibilities for a week. We were able to spend time together as a family and reconnect. Sometimes, as I'm sure all of you feel, life has a funny way of getting in the way of that "togetherness." We had a great time exploring all the parks at Disney. I took about 200 pictures, so I won't bore you with all of them....just a little sampling! I am sure you will see them in the future in my scrap pages!
