Quick Card Front Valentine Cards

Hello friends!
I am loving these Quick Card Fronts from Whimsy Stamps! These Valentine images are absolutely gorgeous! These images are part of the Chocolate Sweetheart collection.  I did some distressing on the edges with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink.  Then ran my scissors down the edges to fray them a bit.  I also machine stitched the panels.  Each card had its own special embellishment, sentiment, and backed with the gorgeous 6 x 6 paper pack, Chocolate, Caramel, Coffee.

Can I tell you how long I've had this M&M embellishment?  FOREVER! I'm so glad I finally found the perfect card to use it on!
For this card, a bit of tulle, leaves, and a red clear button were added.
For this card I added a flower, satin ribbon, and a pearl.
I love how quickly you can create these cards!

Have a great day my friends!

Valentine Ice Cream Soda Card!

Happy Saturday!

Whimsy Stamps had their new release yesterday and this new set called, Frosty Glass Die is perfect to create a beer themed card, but also perfect for an ice cream soda! I die cut the glass portion with Copic friendly paper and created the glass using a B000 and B01.  The foam at the top was glitterfied with Glossy accents and glitter.  I added hearts from the Slimline Hearts Background die. They were colored with Copic and given a coating of glossy accents.  They were then adhered to the top, along with a fun paper straw!

The sentiment was actually from two sets, the Acts of Kindness and Lady Bugs. A bit of red twine and silk ribbon finished off the card.
Be sure to check out Whimsy Stamp's full release!
Have a great weekend!

Valentine Unicorn!

Good morning! How do you like Whimsy's new set, Love and Unicorns?  You know I couldn't just make one card with this adorable set! So today I have another card.  I decided to go full on Valentine's Day colors, right down to the unicorn's mane.  She was colored with Copics and fussy cut.  I used the Mitered Frames Die.
I added the sentiment, a small heart from my stash using the Slimline Hearts Background die, a few sequins, and the XOX from the Confetti Mix, Hugs and Kisses.
If you haven't yet checked out Whimsy's new release, run over there now! You won't be disappointed!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello friends!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release day! So many fun new products!
I used this adorable new set called, Give a Sip. I colored this cutie in with Copics and stamped the sentiment directly under him.
I kept the layout pretty simple, but did add a pom pom to his hat and a heart that was die cut from the Slimline Hearts Background Die.  I have an envelope where I store all of the hearts to use on future projects. ;)

Have a great day my friends!

Slimline Shaker Card!

Hello friends! Hope you all are doing well!
I am still recovering from surgery, and you know the expression, slow and steady wins the race?  Yep that's me.  Slow recovery, but each day gets a teensy bit better. I have a card I created before my surgery using Whimsy Stamp's Valentine Pets set. It has the most darling images.  This little pup reminds me a bit of our King Charles Cavalier, Myla.  I colored her with Copics and fussy cut her. I used "Myla" to replace the "O" in LOVE.  This is a new die cut, Love Heart, from Whimsy Too! So much fun!
The shaker element uses packaging from my slimline dies and the new slimline paper, SurReally Cool Sweetheart. I also used this paper for the letters and then decided my pinks were a bit off.  So I Copic colored them to make them a deeper red/pink.  Copics work great on this paper! I filled the shaker with some, This Calls for Confetti, Hugs & Kisses Mix. Ribbon was tied to the top and this card was done! :)
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Be sure to check out Whimsy's entire January 1st release!

Happy New Year friends!
I am currently recovering from surgery and each day gets a little better.  :)
With the start of a new year means a new release from Whimsy Stamps!
I used the new Valentine Pets set.  I colored this sweet horse using Copics. I fussy cut the image out and decided to use the Slimline Hearts Background Die for the backdrop.
I stamped the sentiment, added some pretty coordinating ribbon, and called this card done. :)

Your Love is Better Than Ice Cream!

Hello my crafty friends!
I hope you are all doing well!
I have a quick post today featuring some fun new products from Whimsy Stamps.  First is this adorable stamp set called, Doggie Valentine Friends.  It was stamped on water color paper with a no line ink.  I used the new Speckled Background Stamp, (I had masked off the pups before stamping)
I Stamped the sentiment on one of the hearts I had die cut using the Heartbeats Die Set.  I popped it up with Crafty Foam Tape and added a teeny heart.  The yellow gingham paper is from the Mix N Match Paper Pack.   I love the smaller patterns perfect for card making!

It was 14 degrees here the other day....which seemed like a perfect day to get ice cream! LOL

Thank you friends, for stopping by today!

My Funny Valentine

Good morning!
I am on my second snow day as we saw about 10 inches of snow over the last 36 hours!
It was a crazy amount of snow, but fortunately, I was able to work from home and not risk driving in it.
Today I have a Valentine's Day card using some fun new Whimsy Stamps! It was fun and a bit experimental. I have been using the metal dies as stencils. (Yesterday's post too!) I Gesso'd vintage book paper to a blue gingham paper from the 6 x 6 Mix n Match collection.  I then used the Slimline Hearts Background Die as a stencil with Crackle Texture Paste.
Once it was dry I added some random water colors over it.  This adorable little pup is from the Doggie Valentine Friends.  I used my Zig Clean Color Markers and fussy cut him.   I stamped the sentiment on white card stock and cut the end at an angle.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Too Hot To Handle!

How about a bit more devilish fun?  This Little Devils set, by Whimsy Stamps, cracks me up! I used no line ink and Zig markers again.  I fussy cut the image and realized my cutting skills need a bit of work.  ;)
I stamped the sentiment directly on the heart and popped it up on a FaDoodles Rectangle.
I added a piece of the new Mix n Match patterned paper behind the image. I added a few red hearts, a bit of twine and called this card done. :)
Be sure to pop on over to Whimsy Stamps to see the full release!
Have a great day my friends!
