First let me just thank you for everyone's kinds words and supportive advice. I really appreciate your concern over my son. (And that includes my family who has e-mailed me!) I know this is all part of being a mom and a kid......but I can't help but worry. Kyle did join drama club and had his first meeting yesterday. He said it was fun and seemed in a better mood. I didn't question him too deeply.......thought I'd leave it alone. Let's see where this drama club takes him. (And secretly, I'll be praying and keeping my fingers crossed like crazy! )
With the LO I am about to show you, you may think me disturbed. Crazy. A little Loco. I spend my hard earned money on Halloween costumes for my dog. Yep. My dog. I can't help myself....he is so patient and good in his silly costumes! It cracks me up! I found this lobster costume at Target a few weeks ago and HAD to buy it! So here he is.....in all his lobstery glory! : )
See? Told you you he was cute!!!
I used Noel Mignon's 31st kit. (sold out!) If you missed out on this fabulous kit, she is previewing her newest one coming out for November. Click HERE to get some sneak peeks! You will be able to pre-order soon, if you wanna grab one!

8th Grade....
As most of you know, getting pictures of Cortney can be difficult. Not only does she have to try and keep her head straight, but she has trouble looking at the camera. (Her eyes wander a lot due to her nystagmus) When she smiles, I usually get a tonsil shot. Not attractive. But these pics......ahhhhhh these pics were perfect of my girl. Blue eyes, great smile....cute, cute, cute!
I used Noel Mignon's Core Curriculum kit (sold out), for this LO.
I did a little Photoshopping to the photos. : )

It was a tough night last night in the Kovack household. Having children can just rip your heart out at times. (My mom warned me about that!) My son was in tears all night. My big guy....7th grade......crying. His supposed "friend" has been nasty to him, so he mustered up the courage to call him and find out why he was being treated so poorly, only to have his friend repeatedly say, "Whatever." As a mother I wanted to rip the phone out of Kyle's hands and ask this kid what the heck his problem was.......but I didn't. I waited until their one sided conversation was over. Then consoled my boy as his heart was breaking. Being a kid is tough. As a mother you want to fix everything.........but can't. So I guess the best I can do is give a lot of hugs, some advice, and an ear to listen with.
Today is picture day at my school, so I need to get a move on and pick out some pretty clothes!
I have Spanish class after school today......so busy, busy day!
Have a great one!!!!! : )

Candy Sticks and Last Chance for Blog Candy!
Good morning! A couple of weeks ago, while browsing the aisles of Michaels, I came across a package of cute Halloween candy sticks. They were by Wilton. I grabbed them and thought they would be cute to place on my coworkers' desks on Halloween. I used my Witch Way to the Treats, JustRite set. (This set is sold out!) They were each cut out with circle Nesties and then airbrushed with Copics.
I paired this one up with paper bats from Making Memories!

And this one.....with cute lil' acrylic buttons.
And this ghost is from Making Memories too....and is all by himself because some of my candy sticks were broken! So no partner for him! ; )
I wanted to let you know that I so appreciate all the sweet comments and feedback about my blog! The consensus seemed to be techniques and Christmas.......so techniques and Christmas it is! : ) Oh! And by the way, since I am a big dork, I forgot to mention that the drawing for my blog candy will be tonight.......sometime. Not sure exactly....but it will be after dark when Kyle picks a winner. So check back later k?
Have a great "Hump Day!"

Bitten by the Bug Blog Hop and some Blog Candy!
Happy Monday to you! This week's Bitten by the Bug challenge was to use the Priceless cut from the Graphically Speaking cartridge. I decided that babies definitely fall into that category! : ) I pulled out this adorable Debbie Mum DP and some Kraft cardstock. I added some glitter to the sentiment, priceless, and inked the edges a bit. I also pulled out my JustRite stamps to create the words, babies are. I cut the circle out with my Nesties and inked those edges too. I tucked it behind the word priceless, added a bit satin bow, and a couple of pretty stick pins to finish it off.
Since it is the end of the month.....you know what that means don't cha? BLOG CANDY! Just a teeny offering this month, but I hope I can pass on these goodies to a good home! What do you have to do?
