I am patting myself on the back right now for incorporating 3 of my favorite companies together to make today's card! (pat, pat, pat!) I used paper and a flower stamp from Noel Mignon's Sun-Kissed kit, a JustRite sentiment, and a Cutting Cafe' Sun Template! I printed the sun template and cut it out. Then I stamped JustRite's Seeds of Kindness (1 5/8) set in Black Momento ink. The butterfly was colored with Copics and the image was cut out using my Spellbinders. The edges were then inked with Tim Holtz Distressing Ink in frayed burlap. The little flower stamp behind my JR sentiment was in the Sun-Kissed kit and is by Imaginence. I stamped it and cut it out to create an extra layer behind my sentiment.
I added a bit of ribbon and some cheery stick pins. The front of the sun opens up so that you can write a little somthin' somethin' in there! : )
My thoughts and ideas for cardmaking and an occasional altered project!

JustRite's New Nested Sentiments!
JustRite has some fabulous new stamps! The set I used today is called Baroque Nested Frames! I stamped the frames on Papertrey Stamper's select white card stock in Zesty Orange and Hibiscus. I cut the frames out with a craft knife. The sentiment I decided to go curvy and use a die from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment was also stamped in Zesty Orange. I sponged the edges and added rhinestones to it. The paper is by Martha Stewart. I added some ribbon, a Prima flower, and a few punched butterflies to finish my card off.
Fellow JustRite DT member Angela has been working hard to get a gallery together.......it is up and live today! Check it out for tons of inspiration from past and current projects using JR stamps!

Scraplift With Sun-Kissed!
Good morning! After the torrential downpour and flash flood warnings we had last night, I am so happy to see the sun today! My kids are excited to swim today! At 7 this morning, I turned our pool heater on! Woohoo! Can't wait!
I have a LO to share with you today that I scraplifted off of fellow DT member at Noel Mignon, Diana. She created this adorable LO about her child's Lovie. I knew instantly I wanted to create a similar LO. Diana's use of paint, DP, and white space were so appealing and eye catching to me! And I love her photo!
Here is my version of her LO. When Kyle was 2 his Grandma gave him this stuffed frog at Easter. He named it "Froggy." Since then, this little green guy has traveled with us on every vacation and many, many road trips. Now that Kyle is 13, he doesn't go everywhere with us, but I will still find Kyle snuggled with his "Froggy" late at night.

I used Noel Mignon's Sun-Kissed kit (sold out), and some American Craft's buttons and doily, from my stash.

My Little Gratitude List....
So many things to do today.....not even sure where to begin! Sometimes my life gets a bit overwhelming, and then I have to step back......and be thankful for my "full" life. My cup runneth over.....as they say! : )
I have a JustRite card to share with you today using the My Garden 3 1/4 set. I colored this Daisy with Copics several times, Crystal lacquered the layers and placed them on pop dots. I added black glitter to the center of the flower and chunky clear glitter to the circle that was cut using two sizes of Nesties.

Hello!
Today is my first official day off for the summer! I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to sleep in a bit this morning. It has been a whirlwind the last couple of weeks! Now, I can rest, catch up on some housework, laundry, and spend some time with the kids without chasing like a crazy person!
Today I have a Crafty Secrets card to share with you. One of my favorite sets is the Sweet Kids set. I colored her in with my Copics. I airbrushed a bit of grass and sky. The paper is Papertrey Ink and SU! I added a Prima flower, rhinestones, and pearls to dress it up a bit!

I think I am going to sneak into my craft room for an hour or so while the kids are still sleeping.....it will feel good to get my crafty on again! : )

Graduation Day!
Happy Sunday to you! I am popping in quickly to post something crafty because you have been so patient will all of my family posts lately! Today is Cort's graduation party and I am running around a bit! I wanted to post a quickie graduation card I made using a sticker. I die cut the star and circles with my Spellbinders. The sentiment was a rub on. It was easy and quick to make!
With all the graduation parties we have this summer, I better get crackin' on a few more of these! : )
