The Winner of the Blog Candy....AND my anniversary card!

This is my anniversary card to my wonderful hubby....of 14 years on May 29th! And yes he will whine if I don't make him a card...no Hallmarks in this house. I stamped with the acrylic stamps from Heidi Swapp. I loved this Adore stamp! The flower and other words are from Close to My Heart. This was the first time I used the heat and stick powder....not sure I did it right! Some of my glitter is coming off....maybe this is an omen after 14 years of marriage.....losing our glitter? Any suggestions? (For the glitter....NOT the marriage!) LOL! The paper was from Foo Fa La and Creative Imaginations.

I have been seeing these cute tent topper cards on everyone's blogs and decided I needed to make one too! I had this Hawaiian, tropical sort of paper and thought.....why not use a chicken stamp? I don't know why but the idea amused me....maybe cuz it was 12:00 A.M. and I was very tired?....mmmmm....Anyway used my cutie pie Whipper Snapper stamp (Are you reading this Anna?) and colored it in with my Prismas. I realize my chicken or hen or whatever you call it....is NOT very realistic! The paper was by American Traditional Designs and the sentiment and the smiley face is from Doodlebug's new line of acrylic stamps....so cute! I've been on a kick with my sewing machine! (OF course ONLY for scrapbooking, NEVER for hemming pants, or making curtains.....)

My son was in his 4th grade play today! He was of course Prince Charming! They were all soooo cute! I love school plays!

I LOVE the Whipper Snapper stamps! This cutie pie baby is one of my favorites! I FINALLY got to play with the flock! I used my Prisma colored pencils and then some glue.... I pressed the white flock onto the bubbles! I used my Cuttlebug for the background and my sewing machine! I found these button brads and the cute polka dot ribbon! The paper is from Making Memories.....sorry SU! gals!

Memories....do you remember this set?

Memories....Like the corners of my mind.....ahhhhh my very first SU! set ever! Back in 2002 when I was first introduced to this wonderful hobby...this was the set that grabbed my eye! I thought it was soooo cute! Especially because I had a girl and a boy! I still think it is a sweet set! I bought this cool paper byJunkitz. It is their Salsa line....so bright and colorful! I sort of, kind of did Beate's sketch! I don't think it is exactly like it....but it will do! I used this pretty silk ribbon I got from Ellen Hutson's store...I thought the colors matched perfectly!!! I glued them on with crystal effects. I used my label maker for the sentiment. I colored the cuties in with my Prismas and mineral spirits...what is it called by artists...gamsol? I used 2 scalloped squares for behind the lemonade stand. The crystal flower is from Junkitz also!

I already have my blog candy ready for 5,000! I will post what I am giving away when I reach that magical mark!

a Beautiful RAK and Easter Pages! Notice the silly pic of my hubby?

These are obviously pics of my kids and hubby coloring Easter eggs! My husband of almost 14 years (Anniversary is May 29th) is really a good sport. He does alllll the grocery shopping and cuts coupons....which I actually have scrapbooked! He found this adorable Easter kit complete with scooters and skateboards! Cortney broke EVERY egg she colored....Kyle told her it was OK cuz he would just eat them right away!

Another scrapbook page that I completed in 12 hours!

Well, here is another page that I completed, during the 12 HOUR crop! This page is my nephew, isn't he the cutest? Doesn't he look mischievous? That smile says it all! He is soooo full of personality! I used one of my new HAMBO stamps! I colored this very cute dinosaur with my Prismas. I used my Favorite paper, Basic Grey Stella Collection. I also used my Quickutz Zelda alphabet. I had these cool stickers, but for the life of me can't remember who makes them. The buckle and photo turns are also Quickutz. The journaling talks about all the words he has learned so far!

A Scrapbook Page!

OK as many of you know I went scrapbooking for 12 hours yesterday....yes, I said 12 HOURS! Now one would think that I would've gotten tons of pages done in 12 hours.....NOPE....only 6! There is definitely something wrong with that picture! I guess I spent way too much time talking and eating! I guess that's what it is all about....the social aspect of it all! So anyway over the next few days I will post the pages I completed! This page is of Cort and her new bike! You already viewed the pictures below....so here is the scrapped page! I used my favorite paper....Basic Grey Stella! I used my Quickutz Zelda letters for the title. I used some buttons, ribbon, and my scalloped punch. (Can you believe this page took about 2 hours...what is wrong with me?) Speed is definitely NOT my strong suit!!!!
