Can you believe it is August already? I've officially entered the countdown to school along with a few tears. ;) I am headed to Nashville this weekend though for a last hurrah! And then it will be reality come Monday morning.
I am super excited however, about this month's Whimsy release! I have been playing a lot with the new stamp set called, Artist Toolkit!
I stamped the paintbrush 6 times in Tim Holtz ink in Antique Linen, on water color paper. I water colored the paintbrushes and did add a bit of colored pencil to the bristles.
I stamped the sentiment directly over the image in Versamark ink and embossed it with WOW black embossing powder. I layered the image over black card stock using Crafty Foam tape. I cut 1/4 inch strips of card stock in a rainbow pattern to place behind the image.
For my finishing touches, I added a few gems and a black and white ribbon to the top.
