Hello! Welcome to JustRite's Christmas in July blog hop! I used a new set called Groovy Snowmen. It is such a cute set! I had so much fun coloring it with my Copics! ( I have them listed below in case you interested) I cut the image out with my Spellbinder's circular die and airbrushed it while the die was still on. I bought these plastic shaker circles from Archivers. I covered the plastic shaker using my circle Spellbinder's die. I also used my Scalloped Spellbinder's die to create the card. The papers I used are from Papertrey Ink and K & Company. The ribbon and button are also from Papertrey Ink.
My thoughts and ideas for cardmaking and an occasional altered project!

Office Party up For Sale Today!
Good morning! Today is the day "Office Party" goes up for sale! I posted a few sneaks on Tuesday of this amazing kit......and today I am revealing my LO in its entirety! I used pics of my cutie pie niece, Katie. She was a bit timid to go into the lake at first, but after a bit of time, she was like a wild child splashing around in the water! Those pics will come at a later date! : ) I did add some gauze and tiny rocks from my stash. The gauze was torn and Glimmer Misted. I wrapped it around the LO and added some tiny shells/rocks to it. I stitched the title did lots of inking, distressing, and layering.
Be sure to grab this fabulous kit before it sells out! : )
Have a great day!

My Cricut and JustRite!
Good morning and happy Wednesday to you! I have a card that I made awhile ago and for some reason never posted it. I used my Cricut and the Home Accents cartridge to create the card. I scored the very top of both layers and then glued the top to create the card. The paper is by Papertrey Ink. I used my Sakura Glue Pen to add glitter to the edges. I used the Kaleidoscope Borders and Center set. (2 3/8) by JustRite for the center. I added Crystal Effects Crackling Medium to give it an aged cracked appearance. As a finishing touch, I added pearls, ribbon, and a stick pin!
Bathroom renovation starts today! Can't wait until it is all done and I can get my house back in order! ( I have no patience.......can you tell?)
Have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Sneaky Peek and You're Sweet!
Good morning to you! Noel Mignon's newest kit, "Office Party," goes up for sale on July 15th and I thought I'd sneak in a couple of sneak peeks! This kit is honestly one of my favorites! It has the best little "officey" and vintage inspired treasures in there, and the most gorgeous papers! If you are thinking of purchasing this kit, don't wait too long, because it is going to fly out the doors!
And in case you missed this a couple of days ago on the Noel Mignon Tips & Technique blog......here ya go! : )
I found these empty plastic containers awhile back at Archivers and decided to finally alter one of them. I used Noel Mignon's Lemonade Stand kit and some of my hand dyed seam binding. (If interested on learning how I dyed it, go HERE) And since my colors were orange, yellow, and blue, I had to hand pick the colors of M & M's I wanted. sick. I know.
I have been so busy getting my bathroom cleaned out. I have so much stuff it is incredible. Seriously! It is all sitting in my living room or kitchen until the construction guys are finished with my bathroom. Cortney will finally have a handicapped accessible shower! No more lifting her into a too small tub! I can't wait! My back will be so thankful! : )

Shaker Box.....
I love shaker boxes......maybe because they allow movement and interaction. Maybe I'm just weird. I don't make them often because they are a bit more time consuming than the average card, and we all know how fast I am at making cards. (insert sarcastic grin!) But I did make one using the By The Sea set by JustRite. I had this little jar of pink sand that was begging me to use it. So I obliged. Papers, pink ribbon, and button are by Papertrey Ink. The ropey looking ribbon is by SU! The image was colored with Prismas and blended with Gamsol.
The ovals, scalloped oval and the transparency were cut using Spellbinders. To pop the top image up and allow for movement of the sand, I used foam tape. The trick is to seal it all the way around, so the sand doesn't leak out. : )

I am off to my Gram's today. Hoping to clean a bit for her, but sometimes she just wants to sit up and visit. Either way, it's all good. My bathtub is being removed later this week, we are having a shower put in to make it more accessible for Cortney. They are going to try and salvage the rest of our bathroom because it was just done a few years ago. So I am keeping my fingers crossed that they are able to take the tub out with minimal mess. In the meantime, I have to empty the bathroom closet. And let me just tell ya.....I have lots of crap....stuff....in there to go through. Does anyone else have hundreds of half used shampoo, lotion, deodorant etc.???
Have a fabulous day!!! Thanks so much for stopping on by!
