Good morning! Hope your weekend was fabulous! Mine was filled with dinners, family, phone calls to my birthday girl, and some Skyping! Cort LOVED seeing all her well wishers on the computer screen!
I don't participate in many challenges, because well........ honestly, there aren't enough hours in the day! But for some reason, I decided to participate in the
Tuesday Trigger challenge over at the
Moxie Fab blog. I loved the inspiration photo. I love the white, green, and aqua combo. It is so "Earthy" yet summery looking! I pulled out this sympathy set from Papertrey Ink. It is a card I like to have on hand.........just in case. I kept it pretty simple......which for me is a huge change! I usually like lots of "stuff" on my cards.....ya know? LOL! The embossed paper is by Bazzil. (LOVE. IT!) I used a punch by Martha Stewart on the Hawaiian Shores paper. (Papertrey), and tucked it under the green embossed paper.
I added some rustic twine, pearls, and a bit of distressing.
*********Funny Cortney story........in the morning last week I asked her what she had going on at school. (Now mind you, her speech is pretty limited)
Me: What do you have at school today Cortney?
Cortney: Choir
Me: "What are you singing in choir?"
Cortney: "Christian songs."
Me: "What Christian songs are you singing?"
Cortney: "Take me out to the Ballgame!"
LOL!!! Christian baseball game apparently! : )
