JustRite, Flower Soft & Blog Candy!
Good morning!!! TGIF! I am all geared up for the weekend, since I will be heading into high gear for Thanksgiving preparations! My "To DO" list is rather long......so I will be a very busy bee!
My card today features several of my favorite products and is for today's JustRite Challenge......to use Flower Soft! And of course I used A LOT of Flower Soft! In fact, I literally dumped it on my large heart and made it very, very sparkly! (Which as you know is right up my alley!) I cut the champagne glasses using my Cricut machine and the Sweethearts Cartridge. I used glitter to give the champagne sparkle. Prima flowers were added to the glasses. The sentiment is part of JustRite's new Wedding Nested Sentiments and Verses set. I added a few pearls, a doily, and my card was finished!
I apologize for the poor lighting, it gets dark so early here that lighting is becoming an issue! I guess it is time to break out the ole' light box!

A LO and a Giveaway!
Good morning to you! Happy Thursday! It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just a week away! To me it represents the kick off to the holiday season! : ) So I will soon be busy getting my house decorated......and I suppose at some point I need to start buying gifts....eh? ; )
I have a LO today of my cutie pie son eating an ear of corn. Weird topic to scrap isn't it? And apparently, I thought it was cute to take a picture of him eating corn.......twice in his life! The first one was when he was 16 months old and the second one was taken recently. I have to admit though that I loved how his recent picture came out! His blue eyes and dimples just melt my heart! I used Noel Mignon's newest kit, Dear Diary and my Cricut machine. The Country Life Cartridge was used to cut the ears of corn and the title.
I love layering papers and stitching right over them with my sewing machine!

I love the polka dot paper......it sort of looks like corn, doesn't it?
Since Country Life is by far one of my most FAVORITE cartridges, I thought I'd give one away to a lucky winner! What do you have to do? Just leave a suggestion........kind of like this is a virtual suggestion box! IS there anything you'd like to see here? Things I can do to make this place a better place to visit? And if you aren't a follower, I would love if you did! Become a follower and you double your chances of winning this fabulous cartridge!

JustRite's 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop 12!
Welcome to the 11th week of JustRite Stampers’ Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops! Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps! Don’t forget that JustRite has some Christmas stamps in their newly released CLING line of stamp sets, too -- you can find them HERE. This week, the designers joining the JustRite design team are the Stampers Dream design team and a few other special guests!
For the month of November, we thought we would switch gears a little and throw in some holiday gift ideas using your JustRite stamps, so be watching for those, too, on November’s hops! And in celebration of JustRite’s Christmas Blog Hops, they have a huge surprise for you -- take 25% off All JustRite Original Christmas Stamps now through November 29 and Free shipping within the US on orders over $50.00-- Don't forget to tell Santa!
For my project today I decided to make a few ornaments that I could give out as Christmas gifts. I have many people who take care of my disabled daughter, bus drivers, aides, therapists, teachers, etc. I like to give a token gift with a letter of gratitude to the people that take such good care of my girl. I found these inexpensive snowflake ornaments at Hobby Lobby. I created the pleated circle using my Cricut machine. I stamped the sentiment in green using JustRite's Merry Little Christmas set. It was colored with Copic Markers. The candies were stamped again, cut out.......yes, I said cut out! (A bit of a challenge due to their tiny size!) and Crystal Effects and clear Martha Stewart glitter were added. I then adhered them to the image.
The circles were cut out using Spellbinder's dies circles and petite scalloped circles. I added Crystal effects to the edges and sprinkled more Martha Stewart clear glitter over it. The top circle was placed on the bottom circle with a foam square. The entire thing was glued on to my pleated circle with tacky glue and then adhered to the plastic snowflake.

Poppy!
Good morning to you! I have a Crafty Secret's card to share with you today! It uses a new set called, Poppy. I loved coloring this beautiful image! I used Copic Markers and did a bit airbrushing in the background. The dragonfly was colored, cut out, and placed on pop dots. I added a bit of glitter to his wings. (Like you would expect anything else! LOL!) The image was cut out using a Spellbinder's die. I used Stickles aroung perimeter of image and the matte. I threaded ribbon through a punched hole in the image and added a button.

Dear Diary, Halloween, and Inspired Blueprints......OH and new furniture too!
Could my title to today's post get any longer? Seriously?
I have a LO using Noel Mignon's Dear Diary kit and a sketch from Inspired Blueprints. I love how sketches take the thinking out of creating a LO. For me, the LO is the toughest part! I chose pictures of my guys carving their pumpkins and Kyle using the Cricut Cake machine to create his cupcake masterpieces! I kept the LO fairly simple and just added a few embellishments here and there.
I did a bit of layering here...........

.......and some journaling here........
And for those of you who stop here frequently......you know how goofy obsessed I have been with getting new furniture in my living room. (Maybe one has a tendency to get a little crazy when one hasn't gotten new furniture in 18 years..........maybe.) So drum roll please........here is my living room before the new furniture arrives.
....and here it is after!! Soooooooooo what do you think? (OK , even if you don't like it.......lie like a rug! The furniture can't go back anyway! LOL!)
And that's all I have for you today! I am off to work even though I have a scrappy hangover from the weekend. Spending 72 hours crafting with girlfriends until the wee hours of the night will do that to ya! : )
Have a GREAT day!!!!
