Trick-or-Treat!

It is hard to believe that it is Halloween already! I have one last card to share with you for Halloween using the adorable, I Want Candy stamp set! (From Whimsy Stamps)
I stamped the images on kraft card stock with a no line coloring ink. I used my Polychromo pencils to color them in.  I filled in the empty spaces with the tiny bats and black ink from the Happy Pugoween set.
The sentiment was stamped on black paper and embossed in white.  It is part of the Trick or Treat House set.   I added sheer ribbon along with a plastic spider.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Whimsy Stamp's July Release!

Happy July!
This summer is certainly flying by! With a new month comes a new release from Whimsy Stamps! This beauty is called Birch Frames.
I went back to my vintage roots on this one! I colored the frame with Copic Markers and added some shadows and highlights with a black and white Polychromo pencil. I colored the bird and embossed blessed directly on the nest. I fussy cut it.
I fussy cut the birch frame out and glued to vintage music paper. I cut out two FaDoodle Frames. I left the die in place and inked around it using Vintage Photo by Tim Holtz.  I layered all of the pieces with Crafty Foam Tape.  I adhered a ribbon and Posy.  I glued several teeny hearts from the Sweetheart Sprinkletz collection

Be sure to head on over to the Whimsy Store and see all of the cute releases!

Slimline Coffee Card

Good morning!
It is raining cats and dogs here, so I think it will be a "stay in your pajamas" kind of day!
I have another card to share using the Cool Beans set from Whimsy Stamps. I have been addicted to this set and decided to color the images on kraft card stock and my Polychromo pencils.
I used glossy accents on the lid of the cup and the sunglasses on the other.  I used a white gel pen to add highlights.  I fussy cut the images and set them aside.  I used the new Slimline Film Strip die. For the inside pieces, I wanted to add a bit of color so I used the Comic Half-Tone Stencil and inks in orange and yellow.
I assembled the card and used a paper edger that has been in my stash for decades I think! I adhered a couple of teeny hearts and tied a bit of rustic twine.  I popped up the coffees with Crafty Foam Tape.
Have a great day today!

PolyChromos and Kraft Card Stock

Good morning!
Are you sick of seeing this set yet? I seriously can't seem to get enough of it!
I stamped this cutie from Whimsy's Hippo Beach set.  I stamped her in Versamark ink for a no line coloring look.
I used my Polychromo pencils to color her in.  I stamped the image in black and added a teeny heart from the Sparkletz Sweetheart collection.
I layered the image over pink card stock and a rainbow paper from the 6 x 6 Rainbow Pack. I used Crafty Foam Tape between the layers.  I tied a ribbon at the top and added several shaped buttons from my stash to the bow

Thank you for stopping by today!

Joy!

Hello my crafty friends!
I hope Santa was good to each of you!
I've had Cortney home this past week so it's been a bit crazy here. We spent lots of time with family, plus baking, shopping, Zoo lights, and Frozen 2.  It hasn't left much time for crafting or blogging.
I have a quiet moment here at home and wanted to post one of my Christmas cards I had previously created.
I used the Floral Oval stamp by Whimsy Stamps.  I colored it with a combination of Copic markers and Polychromo pencils.  I  used white pearl drops for the centers.  I splattered it with a bit of white acrylic paint.
Under the card I added a silver doily and used the Twinkle stencil with Picked Raspberry ink.  I layered everything with Crafty Foam tape.  I added silk ribbon, silver twine, and a few pearls.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Ellie-ments set.
I have a couple more Christmas projects to share over the next few days! I hope you stop on by again to check them out! Have a great day!

One Layout TWO ways!

Hi friends!
I have two cards today to share with you.  I used the exact layout for both, but changed the color scheme and the stamps for a completely different look.  Both use the Slimline Scallop Die. The first card uses the Happy Owlidays set by Whimsy Stamps.
I stamped the same owl on the oval pieces in slightly different directions to make the card a bit quirky.  (Like the gal who created it. ) I used Polychromo pencils, Stickles, and a bit of glossy accents to bring them to life. I tied some red twine, stamped the sentiments,  and added a few Sparklets to finish it off.

The second card was created for the Whimsy Retreat that took place in October.  I used the adorable Kooky Monsters set.  I colored the images with Polychromo pencils.  I also colored the pieces of candy, fussy cut them out and added glossy accents.
I tied purple twine and added a few Sparkletz to complete the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Happy Owlidays!

Howdy friends!
Can you believe we are only about a month from Christmas? Where did the year run off to?
Are you caught up with making your cards?
How about his cute set called, Happy Owlidays!
I stamped the image and used Polychromo pencils to color it.  I fussy cut it, added white gel pen highlights and added Stickles to his hat. The background panel was sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink in Faded Jeans.  I splattered it with a bit of water.  I embossed the Snowflake Frame stamp in gold. I popped the image in the center of my snowflake frame using Crafty Foam Tape.

I added a few red sequins, silk ribbon, and a couple of gold jingle bells to tie it all together.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
