Watermelon Box!

Happy weekend to you!
I don't normally post on the weekends, but my hubby is doing some work and I had a bit of time to post.  I have been having so much fun using the new Whimsy Stamp's Ants at a Picnic set.
I was browsing my Silhouette files and came across this watermelon box.  I knew I wanted to incorporate this darling set with the box.
I love how this little guy is munching on the water melon and peeking over the top!
I colored the images with Copics, added a flower, leaves, and silk ribbon. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on black card stock and embossed in white.
I added Glamour Dust to the inside portion of the water melon, glossy accents to the seeds, and white gel pen highlights.

Gnome Matter What!

Hello my friends! Happy Friday!
I have been crafting like a mad woman!
It's been awhile since my mojo has been in full swing!
I used Whimsy Stamp's Gnome Matter What clear stamp set for my project today.
The box was cut using my Silhouette.  While it was still flat, I stamped the image with Versafine ink.  (It is water proof and great for water coloring!)
I colored the image with Zig Clean Color markers and added a few details using a white gel pen.  I added glossy accents to the snail's eyes. I used the Quick Strips Die set for the sentiment.  The flower was cut from the Build-a-Garden set.

I added a coordinating red ribbon and a couple of gem stones.

Have a great weekend!!

Rainbow Unicorn Shaped Card!

Good morning!  I have another shaped card using my Silhouette and Whimsy's new stamp set called, Unicorn Sparkle.  I stamped the unicorn gal in Black Memento ink and colored her with Copic markers.  I used Nuvo Glitter Drops on her mane for added sparkle.

I colored each part of the rainbow with Copic markers and gave it a coating of the Nuvo Glitter Drops.  I also added Glitter Drop swirls to the clouds too. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark on black card stock and embossed in white.  I assembled the card and added silk ribbon tied with black string.

As a final touch I added a few stars from the Sparkletz Crystal Stars collection.

Shaped Card and Best Wishes

Every now and again I like to mix things up a bit with a shaped card! I found this cut in my files on the Silhouette. I paired it with a new stamp set from Whimsy called, Ellie Summer Squares.  I colored this adorable lil' elephant with Copic markers.  I added a bit of Stickles in Sprinkled Sugar, to the flower.
I wanted to add a little somethin' somethin' to the top of the image so I used the flowers from the Build-a-Garden and Beaucoup Bouquet Die sets with gold paper.  The leaves were cut from the Peony Flower Die set.  I tied white silk ribbon and gold cording behind the flowers.

The sentiment was stamped with Black Memento ink and is from the Bunny Buddies Clear stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pirate Birthday Treats!

So are you surprised to see another project using Whimsy Stamp's Arrgg Pirates set?  ;)
I just think the images are so dang cute!  This parrot?  He looks quite "pirate-ee" with his wooden peg leg!
I cut these cut treat boxes using my Silhouette.
I stamped the smaller images and colored them with Copic marker.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it in white.
I bit of red twine, glossy accents, and some highlights with a gel pen, and these bad boys are party ready!

Silhouette of a Pirate Girl!

Good morning!
I have a new card to share with you using Whimsy Stamp's ARRGG Pirate set and this very cool silhouette image of a lady pirate.  I used some of the smaller stamps from the stamp set to "decorate" her hair.
I added a flower (she is a lady after all!) and leaves from the Peony die cut set.  I layered the ribbon, flower, leaves, etc and adhered them in place.

For the back ground I used the large rectangle from the new Peekaboo Window die to add subtle interest without distracting from my main image.  I added a few pearls to her neck line and a few bigger ones to frame her.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
