Noel hosted a really cool challenge this week based on the "Where the Hell is Matt?" video. Click on the link if you haven't seen it.....it's pretty inspiring! The DT had to create a LO inspired by this video. I walked away from it with the theme of acceptance. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if we all just accepted each other? With all of our differences and all? My daughter and her friends live in a world where love knows no bounds. They all have varying disabilities and levels. They could absolutely care less! They love and accept each other unconditionally! It really tugs at your heartstrings when you see them together. I am truly blessed to have these girls and their moms in my life!~
I am going to do a bit of tooting, for fear that this may never happen again! I was published for the very first time ever! (Yep, I was a pubbed virgin!) I created this victorian cornet a looooong time ago and it got picked up by Paper Trends!
I even made the Cover! (Ok, not actually me....but my cornet did!) Thanks for letting me self-indulge!
Have a great weekend everyone!

2 Sketches 4 You!
I am finally posting a card on time! I made this for this week's 2 Sketches 4 You challenge. I used a Making Memories stamp set from Noel Mignon's store and some cute October Afternoon paper. I just got this pretty ribbon and it matched perfectly! I colored the present with my Copics twice. I cut the second image out and placed it on a pop dot. I added a teeny rhinestone to the top of the present. I threaded a little button and some Doodlebug flowers. I also added a stick pin to the back.
Thanks so much for stopping!

Just Rite Birthday!
Just a quick card for my best friend's son. It was another quick card using Just Rite Stamps! I am just loving the fact that these cards become so special and personal to the person you are giving it to. The person receiving it knows that it was made especially for them! The little cupcake was from a Doodlebug birthday set. I colored it with my Copics and then cut it out. The paper is Bazzill and for some reason am drawing a blank on the polka dot paper.....DCWV, maybe? I also used my Nestibilities for the circles, a pretty ribbon (But not too much!), and some sparkly Doodlebug brads in all four corners!
Thanks for visiting today!

Brainwave Challenge, a RAK, and an award!
Was my title long enough? Geesh! This was a card I created for this week's BWC over at Treehouse Stamps. It was a color challenge. We were to use Pumpkin Pie, Apricot Appeal, Soft Sky, and white. These leaves are part of a new set, not yet released from Treehouse! Soon very soon! Since I was at Great America all day, I needed a quick card! I am getting the hang of more simple, quick cards! I stamped the 3 colors on Whisper White. I sponged the edges, used my scalloped scissors and layered the papers. I then added a white ribbon and stamped two more leaves. I cut them out and placed them on pop dots. I then added some crystal effects to make them more substantial!
I got some happy mail last week! I need to get my act together and post things right away, otherwise I forget! This was a RAK from Gwen over at SCS, otherwise known as tturtle. She sent this adorable card and some images for being the Featured Stamper a few weeks ago! It was such a pleasant surprise. Thanks so much Gwen!
I also received this award from Noel Mignon. I am honored and touched! I have to nominate more brilliant people...but I think everyone has been chosen! I will have to give this some more thought! I was tagged by several people over the last month. I know one of you was Abrah Leah Cross. (I hope I spelled your name right!) I feel terrible that I never posted your award! So for being such a bad blogger, please send me an e-mail. I have a little something, something for you ladies! From now on I promise to post it right away!

2 Sketches 4 You!
First off, thank you for all of your well wishes concerning Bruno. I really appreciate it. It makes my heart feel good to know that there are all those caring souls out there. This was a card I made for 2 Sketches 4 You a couple of weeks ago and never posted. Don't ask why, cuz I really don't know why! But here it is....better late than never. Just a quickie card.....I'm starting to like those quick simple cards! I used my Cuttlebug, Swiss Dots folder. Some October Afternoon paper from Noel's Picnic Basket kit, and a Melissa Frances glittered heart. The sentiment was from a Making Memories stamp kit.
The kiddos, hubby and I are going to Six Flags Great America today. I am hoping we don't get rained out. It will be good to spend time as a family and get away from the house for a day.
Oh and one more thing! Did you noticed that I was featured at Susanna Boyd's blog as Scrap page of the week? What an honor! If you get a chance check it out!
Have a great Tuesday!

Papertrey and Blog Candy Winner!
This was a card I put together a few weeks back for my step-dad. I used all Papertrey products here. It came together pretty quickly! I did add some eyelets so I could tie floss through them. Remember when eyelets first hit the market? How cool they were? How you HAD to buy every color? OK maybe that was just me! LOL! I still have a ton and have been using them again. Sometimes they add just a little something, something....
AND....the blog candy winner is........# 32! JESS!!!
She said: The summer seems like it is flying by and I have a whole list of things I wanted to get done! Congrats on 70,000 views...how awesome is that?! Great candy too!
Thanks to all of you for all of your input and sweet comments!
On a personal note: See my cutie pie Pug, Bruno? He hasn't been doing well these last few weeks. He is only 7, but has a condition called a liver shunt. This means the blood doesn't flow to the liver correctly. We have been able to control it with diet, but for some reason that is not working anymore. He is refusing to eat. He isn't himself at all. His blood work showed he has a build up of ammonia in his blood. This is probably making him feel sick to his stomach. I have had him in to the vet a few times this past month, the consensus is that there really isn't much they can do. So we are taking day by day, but I have a feeling that a decision will need to be made very soon.....
Have a great day!
