Last summer I captured this cute photo of my nephew, Alex. I had edited this photo about a year ago when I took Jessica Sprague's Photoshop class. I added the digital stamp, "Sassy" directly to the photo. One year later, I decided to scrap this picture based on the colors in the "stamp." Noel's kit,
Sonoma County worked perfectly! The large yellow piece was a scrap from another LO, that I couldn't bare to throw away! So instead it created a sort of "window" for the photo. I used lots of flowers here.....Prima, Making Memories, and some punched flowers that I created.
The cute clay button is by
Tessa Ann! (LOVE her buttons!)
And here is a TIP for you! If you like adding ribbon or twine to a LO, but don't like it shifting around, use a hole punch to create a notch at the top and bottom like I did here. It will keep the ribbon/twine in one place!
Don't forget, tomorrow is the pre-order date for Noel Mignon's, "
Playdate" kit! It is going to fly off the shelves.....so ya better grab your quick! : )

My van is once again in the shop.......for an entirely new ramp, motor, and "track," The rust was so bad (And my van is a 2004 only) that the entire track has to be removed and replaced. Poor Cort will be stuck at home for 2 days, since I have no vehicle to transport her! Good thing the weather here is beautiful! We'll just have to take some walks outside!
My school is raising money for the American Cancer Society, and today is Cubs/Sox day. The kids wear their favorite Chicago team apparel and pay 50 cents to the ACS. We are doing 2 weeks of activities to raise money. This summer I will be doing the cancer walk with my fellow teachers. It is for a good cause AND we have a blast doing it! I am so blessed to have a job I love and co-workers who have become friends!
