I go on Marlou's blog all the time and love how she incorporates felt into her cards. So I guess you can say, she inspired me!
I love the look of the felt because it looks so cozy and homemade. I cut the brown felt and did a blanket stitch around it! (Yes, I actually know a couple of different stitches....shocking!) The flower was cut embossed with my Cuttlebug. I added blue felt to the center of the flower and sequins. I used my Copics to give them brown centers. I added a jewelry tag for the sentiment, which was stamped with my snap stamps.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

RAKS!
This first card is from Kim over at Crafty Me. She had her first TAC demo a couple of weeks ago and sent a thank you to each gal that attended! How sweet is that? I of course bought waaaaay too many stamps! Have I made one single card with them? NOPE! It has been crazy busy here and I haven't had time yet....but I did cut them all out last night...so at least I am moving in the right direction!
This Pretty in Pink card is by Deb over at Stampin Granny. She sent me this beautiful card because she won my last blog candy! How sweet of her!!! The flowers are shimmery in real life! Thanks so much DEB!
I know I have said this a million zillion times.....but thank you for making a gal feel special! Stampers and crafters are the kindest people I know!

Another Crafty Secrets card!
I recently purchased these beautiful bird stamps from Crafty Secrets. I stamped them on watercolor paper with Brown Palette Noir ink. I colored the images in with watercolor pencils. I adhered the image to a piece of corrugated cardboard from an old box. The paper is again from K & Company. I distressed, sewed, and added some vintage ribbon and buttons. The small round sentiment at the bottom was adhered on a large button. I then added crystal lacquer and a rhinestone to the top. Lastly, I placed a green leaf behind the button to give it a flowery look.

Bitten by the Bug! Gotta see the new Line of Stamps by.....
Bitten by the Bug's challenge this week was use to use the Monograms cartridge. We had to use one huge letter....a monogram! I am so into fall right now that I just had to do something "fallish!" So I settled on the letter f. I used some old Life's Journey paper for the background, and sewed it using the zig zag stitch. I cut the large scalloped circle using my Cricut. (Which is nice because it cuts from 1 inch all the way up to 51/2 inches! ) I cut the tree using an old Marvy punch. The leaf is by Quickutz. I used a jewelry tag for the rest of the word and added a cute little Lasting Impression's button. And last but not least...I added some sparkle using Stickles and my Sakura glitter pen.
BTW....Did you know that my good blogging buddy and fellow Tuscan Rose DT member, Kelly Sampson and her hubby, Jason have come out with their own line of stamps? She currently has 2 sets and is selling them over by Gina K. They are both so adorable! Check out the samples they both have! Congratulations on your new endeavour!

Crazy Weekend & Crafty Secrets Card!
I just got these bird images from Crafty Secrets....I love these little birds! The paper is from K & Company. I inked the image with brown Palette Noir ink. I used my Copics to color him in and then added glitter to his wings. I stamped the sentiment on a Cuttlebug slide and ran a piece of patterned paper through it. It kind of looks like ribbon. I added a button and floss for added interest.
On Saturday, Cortney and I went to Millbrook, IL. There was a Jellystone Campground that was having its Halloween Festivities....already! We went with all of Cortney's friends and their moms. The girls love being together, and so do us moms! There was a costume contest and trick or treating. We had a BBQ and a bonfire complete with Smores! It was such a great day!

Some of the campers take this VERY seriously!
