Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Good morning and happy Saturday to you!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release day! Whimsy always comes up with the coolest sets! This Shark Week stamp set is so fun and.....well....whimsical! ;) My daughter in law is obsessed with sharks so I created this card with her in mind.  The background was done with Distress inks and water color paper.  The sharks were stamped in  Versafine ink and colored with my Zig Brush markers.  Two of the sharks were cut out and popped up on the background.  I added a few clear bubbles and orange twine to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I really appreciate your visits!

Florida

Hello friends! I have a new card on my blog today using Whimsy Stamp's new Florida Strong Die. I cut it twice with black paper and added several coats of glossy accents to the letters.  In person, it has a ton of dimension! I used the new Hibiscus Flowers to frame Florida.  I used water colors and gold glittery paper for the centers.  The background was a bit stark for me, so I used a stencil to give it a bit of interest and color. I added a few sequins and string to finish off the card.

Have a great day friends! Thank you for stopping by!

Whimsy Stamps New Release

Hello!
It's that time of the month again for Whimsy Stamp's new release. I know I say this every release, but this one is absolutely awesome! This card was created using the new Coneflower Frame Die. I cut it from water color paper and used my Zig Clean Color Water Color Markers.  The frame was given a coating of crackle paste and rubbed with brown ink.  A bit of sewing machine stitching and some tulle finished the card off.

Whimsy Stamps New Release!

March 1st today! This means it is Whimsy Stamp's new release day! I am in love with this new die set called, Bunny Butt.  Could there possibly be anything cuter? I used water color paper for his body and  added glossy accents and glitter to his tail.  I used the Nested Pierced Egg Die Set for the card. I used water color paper here as well and used the Smoosh method to add grays and blues.  I then used my Zig Clean Color Markers to add some grass.
For the sentiment I used the new Easter Sentiments stamp set.  For a finishing touch I added a little posy from my stash and a bit of twine.
Thank you for stopping by today!

Rainbows and Unicorns!

Howdy friends!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release day! The set I used today is called, Love and Unicorns. I think this world could use a little bit more of both! ;)I colored the image using Copics and fussy cut it. The background was done with water colors and water color paper.
Once the background was dry, I stamped the sentiment directly on the water color paper.  Unfortunately, I didn't wait until the ink was dry before adhering everything. As you can see I smeared some of the ink on the unicorn's leg. :(  The hearts are once again from the Slimline Hearts Background die. (Told you I have a problem!) I colored them with Copics and then added a coating of glossy accents to them.  Stickles was also added to the unicorn's mane.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Be sure to pop by Whimsy to see their full release!

Happy Saturday friends!
Just a quick post today.
I have been dealing with a few health issues and my time has been focused outside of crafting for the time being.  So please be patient.
I have all Whimsy Products today from their December release.  Links below. :)
The background was water colored and lots of different dies used to put my card together.

Autumn

Hello friends!

I have another card using Whimsy Stamp's new Autumn Layered Leaves set.  My last card used nontraditional pinks and purples, but today I went with the standard oranges, reds, and yellows.  The leaves were stamped on water color paper using Versamark, then embossed in white. I fussy cut the leaves.  I added glossy accents to areas of the leaves and added glitter.  The sentiment is the new Autumn Word and Shadow die.

The sentiment was cut out using orange and black paper.  I inked the edges of it in a red to give it a bit more depth. The frames is from the Mitered Frame set.  I love the frames with the wood grain paper from the Farmhouse 6 x 6 pack!  I tucked in a few sequin leaves and a few gems from the new Confetti mix-Falling Leaves in Orange.

Whimsy has so many fun new products and their new release is right around the corner!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello friends!
What a week it has been! I hope all of you living in the Southeast made it safely through Hurricane Ian!
My son's Naval graduation was canceled and this Mom was pretty sad about it. But in the whole scheme of things, we were safe, he was safe, and we celebrated with him over Zoom. :)
Our Whimsy Stamp's family live in Florida and fortunately they made it through safely with minimal damage.  It will be awhile before life gets back to some normalcy there.
Today's Whimsy Stamp's release is packed with some awesome new products!  I used the new Autumn Layered Leaves stamp set.  I embossed them in gold on water color paper. I went with bold pinks, purples, oranges, and reds.  I fussy cut them out. The focal point uses the Autumn Word and Shadow Die.  The background was water colored in oranges and yellows.  The scripty word was die cut using gold glittery paper.

The background was done using water color paper (see the trend? LOL) and the Mitered Frames set.  I popped the inner most frame and sentiment up using Crafty Foam Tape.  The leaves were tucked underneath and glued in place. I added a bit of gold cording.  For a final touch I used the Confetti Mix-Falling Leaves in pink.
Thank you for stopping by today!

Whimsy's New Release!

Happy August 10th! Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release day! So many fun new things to share!
I used the new City Street BG stamp.  It was stamped with Versamark and embossed in white.  I water colored the image.  I added a street to the bottom using black paper and adding white dashes.
This Comic Car Die just cracks me up with its tiny wheels!
I used vellum for the windows so you could still see the city scape behind it.
I wanted this to be a thank you card to give to a friend of mine.  My transmission dropped in my handicapped van and we had no way to get Cortney home.  So he was kind enough to drive her back to Misericordia. Her wheelchair in the back of his pick up truck. It was a very, very long drive both ways and I was so appreciative of his time!
The thank you is part of the Thank You Word Die Set.  I cut it and then swiped the entire word with Versamark.  I embossed it in gold.  The other part of the sentiment is from the Many Thanks Stamp set
I couldn't resist adding a tiny heart.  This came from the Scribdoodle Critter Dog Confetti Mix.  It has the best mix of hearts in a variety of sizes.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Be sure to head on over to Whimsy Stamps to see the full release!

Boho Rainbows!

Hello Friends!
So glad you stopped by!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release and it's all about Boho!
I used this new die set called, Boho Rainbows.  I ended up making about 10 rainbows and will be using them on future products.  I created a slimline card using 3 of the rainbows on black paper.
I added a flower and leaves from the Poppy Flower Die set.  The sentiment is from the Many Thanks Stamp set.  It was stamped in Versamark and embossed in white. A few clear droplets and some string finished the card off.
You are not going to want to miss Whimsy's new release!
Have a great day friends!
