I love the stitching! It gives it just a bit of interest to a clean and simple card. I stamped both images in a light ink and used Copics to color it. I added a strip of vintage ribbon and a few clear droplets from the
Coral Coast Sparkletz.
My second set of cards uses this adorable stamp set from Whimsy's,
Angel Celeste. I stamped the image and wanted to create a soft pink background around her. So I used ThermOWeb's (Gina K)
Masking Magic. I stamped directly on it, cut it out, and placed it right over my image. I was able to sponge Picked Raspberry ink around her with absolutely no lifting from the edges!
While the mask was still in place, I spritzed it with a bit of water.
I colored each of the cards and decided to incorporate a large flower into each card. I used the
Peony die and sponged each of the flowers and leaves with
Distress Ink. I assembled them and glued them to the card, along with ribbon and a sentiment from the
Your'e Too Kind stamp set.
My last card I decided to make a shaker card. I just think these are so fun and interactive! I stamped this adorable image,
Dragon Party on water color paper. I colored it with water colors and added a few more details with colored pencil, and a white gel pen. The shaker itself was created with
ThermOWeb's Nested Rectangle Double Stitched Die.
I filled it with various sequins and Sparkletz I had in my stash. I added a sweet little posy and ribbon to the candles. And of course a few touches of glitter using
Glamour Dust and
Glossy Accents.
