As many of you know ( I apologize if I sound like I am repeating myself) my daughter, Cortney has severe Cerebral Palsy. When I had a girl 12 years ago, one of my dreams was to bake with my little girl. Due to her physical handicaps and mental impairment, this never became a reality......until now. Right before Thanksgiving, she kept saying, "Me bake." over and over. I jumped on that opportunity right away! I put her in her gait trainer and God bless her......she mixed, stirred, and better yet, enjoyed herself!
I used the Crafty Secrets, mini chef set. I colored her in with my Copics. The paper is SU! kraft, Flair, and Creative Imaginations. The ribbon is by Making Memories and Michaels. The buttons are by Foo Fa La. I had the picture redone in sepia. I had originally done this layout with the color picture. Well, Cortney had Hello Kitty PJ's on and a bright yellow chef hat. My husband took one look, shook his head, and said, "Waaaaaay too busy!" I actually think he was right. The sepia gives it an old fashioned look, just right for those Crafty Secret's images!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
