Halloween and No Line Coloring

Good morning! How are you all doing today?
I went away this past weekend to a charity scrap event and decided to pack lightly.
I brought my Copic markers and Prisma pencils.  I am loving experimenting with the look of no line coloring.
This image is by Hero Arts and it was colored with Copic markers. I was trying to be a bit different with the dies....and I am thinking it was a bit of a fail. But the image was colored and at that point was NOT throwing it away! ;)
So is it my favorite card? Nope. But I am sure the person I send it to will not be critiquing it the way I do. (Or at least I hope not!)
I added a few purple gems and some cute polka dot paper to finish off the card.
Thank you all for stopping by!
I appreciate your visits very much!

Lawn Fawn and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog Hop!

Good morning and happy Friday to you!
I am excited to be participating in a blog hop between Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Lawn Fawn!
For my post today I used this cute set called, On the Mend.  (So popular that it is sold out at the moment! )
This set was so cute that I ended up making 3 cards with it!  The first one uses Zig Clean Color Markers, water color paper, and a bit of masking.  I used my Mini Misti to line up the sentiment and added a few sequins using Dodz-mini.  The layers were adhered using my favorite Crafty Foam Tape.

This second card is a one layer card.  I stamped the images, masked them, and layered a stencil over it.  I used a Tim Holtz ink to get those cute polka dots.  Then I removed my masks.  I Copic colored the images and attempted my first wood grain table.  ;)  I once again added sequins with Dodz-mini
For my third card, I stamped a bunch of the Band Aids.  I work with 9 year olds, and have learned that Band Aids make EVERYTHING better! ;)  I adhered my sentiment and colored panel with Crafty Foam Tape.  I also added sequins.  (There is definitely a pattern here I think! LOL)
Be sure to stop by the Scrapbook Adhesives Blog and the Lawn Fawn blog for your chance to win some great prizes!
I am off to a scrapbook weekend with my friends! I am ready for a bit of coloring therapy and girlfriend therapy!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Birdhouse!!

Good morning my friends! Here today with a bird house shaped box!
Every now and then I love to dust off the ole' Silhouette and do something "outside" the box!  (Sorry, I couldn't resist!) ;)
I cut the bird house out of kraft card stock.  I stamped it with a wood grain texture and assembled it.  I added flowers, leaves and a few sequins. I decided to finish it off with an SRM sticker!  Mine is from the Happy Birthday Sticker Sentiments, which is no longer available, but you can find a very similar sticker in the Sentiment/Congratulations sticker sheet!
Here is one last look at my bird house in all of its glittered glory!
Have a wonderful day my friends! Thank you for stopping by!

Stampendous, Scrapbook Adhesives, and No Line Coloring!

Good morning! I have a couple of winter inspired cards! (As I am sweltering in this 90+ heat in Chicago!) I didn’t officially participate in the Stampendous blog hop a few days ago, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still love on their cute stamps called Snowmen Trio!
For this first card I used a no line coloring technique.  I stamped it in a very pale blue and once I Copic colored it, the stamped lines fade into the coloring.
I cut a circle and made it my large snow ball by adding glitter and embossing powders from Stampendous! called Frantage Encrusted Jewels! So much fun to just sprinkle and heat ’em up!  I used more Crafty Foam Tape to pop up the snowmen and my snowball.
The second card was also done using the no line coloring technique.  The background was done with water colors but in a bit more vibrant palette. Instead of a snowball, I hand cut a snowy hill for this guy to slide on! I covered it with glue using the Dual Tip Glue Pen and then sprinkled it with glitter. Next, I adhered the hill and snowman with Crafty Foam Tape. For a final touch, I attached pearls and rhinestones with Dodz Adhesive Dots Mini.

I added a bit of coordinating twine, jingle bells, and a few rhinestones/pearls.
Thank you all so much for stopping by today!
Cortney is home for the weekend, so her and I are heading to the pool again!  It is unbelievable that it is 90+ degrees here in Chicago!  (But I will take it! Winter will be here soon enough!) ;)

Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!!

Good morning coffee lovers!!
I am so glad to jump on in to the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!
I created this card using SRM's new stamp set called, Coffee Plans and incorporated it with a fun Silhouette cut called, Coffee Pulse.

The background was stamped in a light brown and the coffee bean.  I adhered my die cut and used my Misti to line up the words, including the hashtag, around it.

I added a few teeny punched hearts covered them with glossy accents and sunk a bitty Queen and Co. flower in the center.  When it was dry I added some black enamel accents to the centers of the flowers and few scattered around.
What a fun day for a hop! TGIF!
Have a great weekend friends!

Halloween Plaid Using Tape!

Good morning crafty friends!
I hope you had a great weekend!
I was lucky enough to celebrate my 46th birthday with dinner and a play with my hubby and friends. Then yesterday, on my actual birthday, we were at Cortney's home, Misericordia. They had their annual Family Fest and Brian and I were selling jewelry I helped design.  All of the proceeds go back to Misericordia.  We did well, but boy oh boy I was pooped last night!
(Maybe 46 is why? LOL!)

I was up on the Scrapbook Adhesives blog yesterday with a Halloween card.
I used Double sided tape to create a plaid glittery background.

The image was stamped and die cut.  It was colored with Copics and given a bit of glitter with glossy accents.  I attached the sequins, including a few spiders, using Dodz-Mini.

Linen Holiday Treat Bags!

Good morning!
I am up on the SRM Blog today with some holiday treat bags!  I know it's a bit early, but I am trying to get a bit of a head start!
I am loving these new bags from SRM.  Who doesn't love polka dots? I added silver Stickles to the centers of each of the dots for a bit more interest.
I used my Spellbinders flower and snowflake dies and gave them a bit of color with a Copic marker.  I adhered all of the layers and added more silver Stickles to the centers. I used a tag punch and stamped my sentiment from SRM's Seasonal Plans Stamp set.
I punched a circle out of white card stock and stamped the snowflake in a pale pink.  I added Stickles to the center.  I tucked the tag under my flower/snowflake.  I added some silver twine and jingle bells to tie it all together.
Slip a few treats in there and voila!
Happy Hump Day my friends!!
