Hello friends!  Just a quick post today using some new products from Whimsy Stamps! I stamped the new Dainty Daisies background stamp with Versamark on black paper and embossed it in white.  I colored each of the flowers with the Karin Brushmarkers in metallics.  The frame and sentiment are part of the Doodle Frames Clear Stamp set, embossed in white.
I added a couple of flowers from the FaDoodle Flowers set.  The leaves are from the Build-a-Pumpkin set.  Silk ribbon and a few rhinestones were my finishing touches.

Everything Succs Without You!

Good morning and happy Sunday!
I have a card today using some fun new products from Whimsy Stamps.  This adorable stamp set is called, Succ it Up. ;)  I colored each of the plants with Copic markers and fussy cut them out.
I inked up some card stock in shades of pink, orange, and yellow.  I used the new Wonky Window 4 die to cut them out.  The frame was popped up using Crafty Foam Tape as well as each of the plants.  I love the snarkiness of the sentiment and stamped it directly on the panel with black ink.  I incorporated the new Bug Hugs die.  I inked it up in shades of green and yellow, popped it up with Crafty Foam Tape, and gave it a generous coating of glossy accents. As a finishing touch I adhered a sprinkling of clear gems and aqua hearts from the Hugs and Kisses Sparkletz collection.

Be sure to pop on over to Whimsy Stamps to see the full release!
Have a great day friends!

National Teen Self Esteem Hop!

Hello friends!
This month is National Teen Self Esteem Awareness.
Being a teen is rough, especially in these days.
So a group of talented crafters have created cards to spread some joy and awareness! The hop is taking place on Instagram.  There are lots of prizes being given away from our sponsors,(Whimsy Stamps included), so be sure to check out Instagram! (The info will be listed below!)
For my card, I used Whimsy Stamps Atlas Jar Clear Stamps.  I inked it with Speckled Egg ink from Time holtz.  For the inside of the jar I used the mushrooms and butterfly from the Polka Dot Pals Imogen set.  It was colored with Copics and white gel pen was used for the dots.  I fussy cut the jar.
I added leaves and a flower using the Peony Flower Die.  I cut it with water color paper and used my Karin Brushmarkers to add color.  I folded and bent the petals and leaves, stacked them, and glued them to the edge of the jar.  I tucked silk ribbon and string between the flowers and leaves. For the background I used the 6 x 6 paper from the Eggstra Bunnies collection.  To "ground" the jar I did add a white rounded rectangle with white paper. For a finishing touch, I added a doily, and a few Sparkletz stars.

The information for the Instagram Hop are below.  :)

Seriously!  It is part of the Gnome Party Row set!  I colored the gnomes with Copics and decided to color the background in black for a night sky.  I added stars with a white gel pen and few hearts from the Sweetheart Sprinkletz.
I added a pop of turquoise using the Slimline Zig Zag Edger die. Everything was adhered using Crafty Foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Sweet Sixteen!

Good morning friends!
The school year is winding down and it has been a bit busier than I am used to!
My crafting time has been a bit limited, so I have to be sneaky about fitting it in here and there. ;)
I did manage a birthday card for my nephew's upcoming 16th birthday.  I used new products from Whimsy Stamps.  I stamped the cake and numbers using the new Make a Wish Stamp set.  I colored it using Copics, added glossy accents, glitter, and sprinkles. I used the coordinating die set to cut the images out.
I wanted the background to be fun and colorful, so I used the new Micro Patterns Clear Stamps.  I think this is such a fun way to make your own patterned paper! I layered my images using Crafty Foam Tape.   As a final touch I added a sprinkling of stars.
Speaking of birthdays, this gal of mine just turned 26! My mom and I got to see her for a bit last Saturday.  On Sunday (her actual birthday) she celebrated with her house.  Pizza, cake, and presents.  They Zoomed with me so I could sing with her house and watch her open her presents.  I can't wait until the day she can come home for a visit.  I want to hug and squeeze this girl so much!!
Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to pop by Whimsy Stamps to see all of the new products!

Whimsy Stamp's May Release!

Happy May to you!
Today is not only the day before Cortney's 26th birthday, but it's Whimsy Stamp's new release!
I used the new Gerber Daisy stamp with coordinating die.  I stamped the image on water color paper and went for a no line effect.  After everything was dry, I splattered it with a bit of white acrylic paint.  I used the die and worked on my background.  I embossed a piece of white card stock with the new Slimline Thatched embossing folder.  I adhered the water colored image on top using Crafty Foam tape.
The sentiment is part of the Sympathy So Deeply Sorry stamp set.  I have been needing more of these cards unfortunately. I tied a bit of black string and adhered an acrylic flower I had in my stash.  For a final touch I added a few gold sequins.
Be sure to head on over to Whimsy Stamps to see the full release! You are going to LOVE everything!
I am heading to Misericordia with my mom today to visit with Cortney for her birthday! Can't wait to see my sweet girl! :)
