Happy Day! (Again!)

Happy weekend everyone! I have another card using Whimsy Stamp's Dandiwish set.  I love these little birds and decided to make them my focal point. I used my Misti to evenly space them.  They were colored with Copic Markers and given a coating of glossy accents. For the scalloped pieces I used the Grunge Canvas Background stamp in a soft pink color.  I cut it into strips and used an old scalloped border punch from my stash.  I adhered it to the main panel (When it was dry) using Crafty Foam Tape. The background paper is from the Scribdoodle Critter's Pack

I used a few clear rhinestones from the Daddy's Little Girl Sparkletz collection  and a teeny pink heart from the Love You Beary Much Confetti Mix.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend!!  If you have a moment, pop over to the Whimsy site to see their full release!

Just a few pictures from our Easter.   Kyle and Sarah were not able to make it in since Kyle is starting his 3rd phase of training in the Navy.  But I did have Cortney home.  My sister and mom came over and Kyle Facetimed us. It was a wonderful Easter and so great to be with family again!

Happy Day!

Happy Day! It's Friday!
I have a card today showcasing some of Whimsy Stamp's newest products! Let's start with the sentiment. It is part of the Dandiwish Stamp set.  I stamped it on cream card stock with Versamark and embossed it in black.  I had this frame in my stash and thought it framed the sentiment perfectly! I stamped the flowers in black and colored them with Copics.  I fussy cut them out, layered them, added a pearl to the center, and glued them to the bottom of the frame.
The background was done using the fun circles in the Dandiwish set and the Grunge Canvas Background Stamp.  I had stamped the circles first in Tim Holtz Oxide inks: Mustard Seed, Candied Apple, Peacock Feathers, and Spiced Marmalade.  I stamped the Grunge Canvas directly on top of it with Hickory Smoke Oxide ink. I was really pleased with how the background looked! I layered everything, tied a bit of twine at the top, and added a teeny heart from the Love You Beary Much-Confetti Mix.

Thanks so much for coming by today!

Kitty Shaker Dome Card!

Hello friends!
I am excited that today is Whimsy Stamp's new release!
This Kitty Frame Die is so stinking cute that I had to make a shaped shaker card. ;) I used the Pierced and Stitched Circles die to fill in the kitty's body.  I used Copics and white gel pen to add some stripes.  The dome is from Simon Says stamps and was filled with teeny mice, fish bones, and hearts from the Fish and Mice Border Die Set.
A bit of twine was added with a teeny jewelry tag.  The heart was given a coating of glossy accents.  And of course googly eyes were a necessity! ;)
Thank you for stopping by today!
Be sure to check out Whimsy's new release!
So much fun!!

Bunny Sweetness!

Hello friends! I have a card today that uses Whimsy Stamp's Woodland Critters set.  This bunny is simply adorable! I stamped it with a no line ink and used my Zig Clean Color markers.  I swooshed some sky behind the bunny and stamped a couple of butterflies from the set.
I created a double frame for my scene using the Nested Pierced Egg Die set.
The layers were stacked using Crafty Foam tape.  I added a pom pom to the bunny's tail and a few hearts from the Love You Beary Much Confetti Mix.
I always appreciate you stopping by! :)

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Good morning! Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release and this set called, Monster Birthday is so stinking cute! The image was stamped on water color paper using a no line ink and colored with Zig Clean Color Markers. I hand cut all of the pieces.  I used the new Mini Slim Rounded Die to cut white and Blue card stock.  I stamped the sentiment in black and adhered all of my images using 3D Foam Squares.
His antennae were too thin to cut out, so I hand drew them once he was adhered.  I added a bit of glossy accents and glitter.  I tied pink ribbon and secured a couple of pink pom poms to the center.
This Whimsy release is so fun, so be sure to check it out!
Have a great day!

New Background Stamp!

Good morning!
I am still playing catch up from my vacation, but seeing my son graduate from the nuclear program in the navy was really something to see.  Very emotional for me.
Today I am showcasing a new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called, Big Bumble Background Stamp.
It was stamped in black and colored with Copic Markers.  I stamped the wings on black water color paper and embossed it in gold.  I used metallic water color paints and then cut the wings out.  They are popped up using Foam Squares.
I added the sentiment, hi using the Cutie ABC Die set and purple glitter paper. A bit of twine as added and glossy accents to the bee's body.  For some extra sparkle I sprinkled a bit of glitter to the flower petals.
Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to pop on over to Whimsy Stamps to see all of their products!
I also have one of the pictures below of my son graduating Power School! (Proud Mama!)

Celebrate! Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello my crafty friends!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's April 1st release! It is also the day my son graduates from Power School! Proud Navy mom here!
I used the new Mini Slim Tri Fold Peekaboo die.  I saved the other parts for another project that I will share later.  I used the circles and applied Distress Oxide inks to the two smaller circles.
The center circle is from the new Medalions Modern Hot Foil Plate.  And since I couldn't leave well enough alone I also used the Floral Hot Plate on pink paper with gold foil.  I used it as a background to the circles.
I added pearls and some gold confetti from the St. Patrick's Day Confetti Mix.  I adhered everything on top of some super sparkly gold paper.  It feels so girly and glitzy!
Thank you for stopping by today!
Be sure to stop by Whimsy Stamps to see the full release!
It never disappoints!
