Let it Snow Shaker Card!

Hello and happy weekend!
The holidays are in full swing and I'm trying to move at the speed of lightning these days!
I have a shaker card today using some fun stamps and dies from Whimsy Stamps. I created the shaker with the Slimline Banner Die. I used a sheet of old music paper to give it a bit of a vintage feel. The cute snowman is from the Let it Snow Snowmen stamp set.  It was colored with Copics and fussy cut.  I added a scattering of snowflakes, pom poms, and a bit of machine stitching to finish off the card.
Have a wonderful weekend!

It's Hot Cocoa and Fuzzy Sock Season!

Good morning!
I feel like some days are moving at a million miles an hour. I am taking a break this morning...sipping a cup of coffee...and staying in my fuzzy socks a bit longer before the day begins.
This card uses all the cute images in Whimsy Stamp's new Cozy Winter stamp set.  Everything was colored with Copics.  I added some fun details with liquid applique, Stickles, and glossy accents.  The background was a bit too stark white, so I added some subtle "snow" behind the images using the Polka Dot Stencil.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful day!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Good morning!
I have been a bit absent lately....and for good reason. I am going to be a grandma in March and this past week my son and his wife were in from Georgia for Thanksgiving. And then, we had their baby shower!
:)
So I apologize! But I am back and have a fun card to share using Whimsy's new stamp set, What's For Dinner.  I colored the images with Copics and cut the images with circle dies from my stash.  I added the rolling pin and pie from the Baking Die set.
The green plaid paper is from the 6 x 6 Tartan pack.

This release is super cute! Be sure to pop over to Whimsy Stamps to see the full release!
Have a great day!

Vintage Love....

Vintage. Love. Anything old, worn, well loved, is right up my alley.
These new Quick Card Fronts-Snowball Friends  by Whimsy Stamps are such gorgeous images!
You could do absolutely nothing and this would make such a beautiful card!
I did fuss though and added some crackle texture paste to the edges.  Did some machine stitching and added snowflakes dipped in glossy accents and glitter.

Just love these....

Whimsy's New Release!

Happy weekend to you!
I have TWO cards to share today using Whimsy Stamp's new set called,  So Annoying.  These birds crack me up! The first card is so appropriate for my friends in the Midwest! (I live outside of Chicago and can totally relate!) I colored this cranky bird with Copics and curved my sentiment using my Misti.  The image was cut with a circle die from my stash.  The "frame" around Mr. Cranky pants is from the new Loopdidoos die set.  The background was done with the It's Snowing stencil.  I added a snowflake in black to match his mood.  ;) It is from the Elegant Snowflakes and Border die set.
My second card was pretty CAS.  I colored the image again with Copics.  Cut it out using my circle and scalloped circle dies.  The snowflake is once again from the Elegant Snowflakes and Border die set.
The background paper is part of the Blurry Flurries 6 x 6 paper pack.

This month's release is so fun! Be sure to pop over at Whimsy Stamp's!
Have a great weekend!

Holidays!

I am getting in gear for the holidays, which is easy to do with all of Whimsy Stamp's new Christmas dies and stamps! This card uses minimal stamping.  Mostly paper and dies.  I "wrapped" my red paper using the Loopies Die Set.  I added glossy accents and glitter for some sparkle. The flower was created using the Hibiscus Flower Die set. I added a bit of twine and jingle bells   The sentiment is part of the Elves on Christmas stamp set.

A pretty quick and simple card!
Thank you for stopping!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release day!  Trying to take decent pictures in dark gloomy Illinois has been a bit of a challenge! So bear with me!
I used their brand new Snowflake Mask Stencil as the focal point of my card. I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Soltice stamp set with Versamark ink and embossed it in white.  The frame is part of the new Frame Labels Die set.  I added a few additional snowflakes from glitter paper using the Elegant Snowflakes and Border die set.
A few clear sequins and some shimmery silver ribbon finished off the card.
Pop by the Whimsy store to see the full release!
Have a great week!
