Gnome Matter What!

Hello my friends! Happy Friday!

I have been crafting like a mad woman!

It's been awhile since my mojo has been in full swing!

I used Whimsy Stamp's Gnome Matter What clear stamp set for my project today.

The box was cut using my Silhouette.  While it was still flat, I stamped the image with Versafine ink.  (It is water proof and great for water coloring!)

I colored the image with Zig Clean Color markers and added a few details using a white gel pen.  I added glossy accents to the snail's eyes. I used the Quick Strips Die set for the sentiment.  The flower was cut from the Build-a-Garden set. 

I added a coordinating red ribbon and a couple of gem stones.

School's out for summer!

I am blessed to have a profession that allows me to recharge over the summer!

I am sharing Whimsy's newest release, Pig Puns 2.

The images are so whimsical and fun! I colored the image with Copic markers and added details with a white gel pen.  I used the Quick Strips Die to cut out the sentiments. To add a bit of interest, I used the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle Dies and the Kinetic Straight Waves Die for the bottom of the card. 

I've had these donut pieces in my stash forever and was so excited to be able to finally use them on a card! I tied the silk ribbon right through the center!

Happy, Happy Birthday!

Good morning! I am excited for a couple of reasons...first, school is out tomorrow, and secondly, I get to play with Whimsy Stamps newest releases! 

I got to use this cute stamp from the Oink Clear set. 

I colored this adorable pig using Copic markers and added a few white spots with a white gel pen. I fussy cut him out and added glossy accents to his eyes. 

I wanted to add a few flowers, so I added some from the Beaucoup Bouquet stamp set. They were also colored with Copic markers and cut out.  The background was done with Tim Holtz Distress inks and spritzed with a bit of water.  The stamped sentiment came from the Sleepy Sloth set. I cut it out using the Quick Strips Die set.

I used Crafty Foam tape to layer the pieces on the 6 x 6 Pretty Pastel paper.   I added a few Pretty Pink Posh jewels to finish it off.

Hi there! 

I have a couple of cute tags to share with you today using the new set by Whimsy Stamps called, Gnome Matter What!  It is so stinking cute I can't stand it!

I love having a few tags on hand to add to gift bags and such.  

The images are fun and whimsical. I colored them with Copic markers, added glossy accents, and a Sparkletz heart.  I also added a sun die cut from the Up in the Clouds Die set.

Happy Memorial weekend to you!

I have Cortney home this weekend and Kyle is off of work, so it is going to be a weekend full of family.💓💗

It's just the way I like it. 

Today I have a card showcasing Whimsy Stamps' Penguin Slides stamp set.  I stamped this cutie with black Memento ink and used Prisma colored pencils.  I added hightlights with a white gel pen.  

I used the Kinetic Straight Waves die set to created the border at the bottom.  I added patterned paper underneath to make the image pop a bit.  

I tied yellow twine and adhered a puffy heart sticker for a final touch. 

I am off to enjoy the sunshine (which has almost non existent this past month) and spend some time with the kids!

Avo-Cuddle?

Good morning crafty friends! 

My co-workers tease me that I am obsessed with avocados. I have one every. Single. Day.  :)

So of course I am completely in love with these cute lil' avocados from the, We Go Perfectly Together set.  Because we do go perfectly together. 💓

I stamped the image repeatedly using Versafine CLAIR ink in black. I used water colors to bring these little guys (girls?) to life. Once everything was dry, I added details with a white gel pen and glossy accents. 

 I stamped the sentiment on light blue card stock with Versamark ink  and embossed it in white.  I used the Quick Strips Die set to cut it out.  I adhered it to white card stock. I fussy cut around it and popped it up on the image with crafty foam tape. I added a Sparkletz Love Heart and used a white gel pen to add faux stitching.

Rainbow Unicorn Shaped Card!

Good morning!  I have another shaped card using my Silhouette and Whimsy's new stamp set called, Unicorn Sparkle.  I stamped the unicorn gal in Black Memento ink and colored her with Copic markers.  I used Nuvo Glitter Drops on her mane for added sparkle.  

I colored each part of the rainbow with Copic markers and gave it a coating of the Nuvo Glitter Drops.  I also added Glitter Drop swirls to the clouds too. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark on black card stock and embossed in white.  I assembled the card and added silk ribbon tied with black string. 

As a final touch I added a few stars from the Sparkletz Crystal Stars collection.
