Love This SU! Coffee set....I bought off E-bay!

I bought this set off E-bay a few months ago and love it! I found this saying in one of my magazines that reads: A good friend will share a cup of coffee with you....a great friend adds booze to it! LOL! This is the SU! What's Brewin? I used my scalloped punch and inked it! I bought these new embossing powders for the cup and the steam. For the cup I used chocolate brown embossing powder by gelly powder! For the steam I used a two-toned embossing powder by Moon-Glow. It really is two-toned! It has a light area and a dark area of steam! I typed the sentiment on my computer (yes, I AM using it for something besides blogging!) Lastly, I used my new tab punch from SU! I was pleased with the results and the teacher I gave it to loved it! ( I gave her a Starbucks gift card and mug)

A Cherry Hello

This was another card I submitted to Paper Crafts. I used a premade cherry note card from Target. (Everyone knows Target...the place you can't go to without spending at least one hundred bucks!) I used Queen Annes new floral felt border. The die cut is from Cuttlebug. I ordered the cute cherry ribbon from E-bay. I also used a new punch by McGill, that is similar to the SU! slide punch but a bit bigger. Oh! and I used my new snap stamps from Karen Foster! Sooooo cool!

Hambo stamp!

I bought a bunch of stamps from Hambo! I love these stamps! They're so cute! I love this little caterpillar. I used the short stem from Paper Trey, A Green Thumb, to make the grass around this little guy. The paper I used was new from Tinkering Ink. I also used the new flourishes die cut from Cuttlebug. I love their diecuts because they cut so cleanly! I had the patterned paper showing first and my husband thought it looked too busy! So I reversed the paper to show the solid pink. I took a picture before and after....What do you think?

I've been tagged.....Twice!

I was tagged by Laura at Lula's Corner )http://lu-lascorner.blogspot.com/index.html and Frances at Stamp Owl! http://stampowl.blogspot.com/index.html I guess I need to come up with 7 things about myself......mmmmmm

1. I met my husband of 14 years when I was only fifteen! I met him while working at Burger King's drive up window! (not very romantic I know!)

2. I sang in a Show Choir while in high school. One of my costumes was a very attractive (I'm being a bit sarcastic!) grass green!

3. I have a desire to travel A LOT when I can afford it!

4. I have an obsession with things that smell good...candles, air fresheners, scented oils, perfume....(What does this say about me....don't have a clue!)

5. I have a severe phobia of throwing up! (even saying it makes me sick)

6. I love anything salty over anything sweet. I can make a meal of chips and dip!

7. My dream is to get published somewhere...someday!

I think I am supposed to "tag" others....How many I'm not sure...if anyone knows please enlighten me! : )

Spring Hello!

What a warm beautiful day here in Chicago! I spent the entire weekend gardening, seeding, and weeding! Loved every minute of it! This card was my Hello entry at Paper Crafts! I don't have a chance in heck to win the first cut, but at least I can say I tried! It was my new SU! set, chalks, prisma glitter, and some paper I bought from Target. (MArcella I believe!) I used my Quickutz to create the Hello and rhinestones.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
